6-2. The second half of the schedule gets much tougher.
Steelers 33 Falcons 10 Steelers' passing yards: 289
Sorry, I hadn't seen this thread or I wouldn't have started a new one. I'll delete mine.
I was mildly surprised that they flipped Troy and Cook this summer. We know Troy was very good at RT, and Cook is better at LT than he is at...
Yeah, but if some other ILB-needy team calls and offers him more $$$ than we did, he'll be gonzo. Seems like a big risk to take with a player...
I hope Cam, TJ and Elandon take DK for a little ride and beat the snot out of him until he decides to quit doing this crap
Really nice to get that 3rd round pick. Sometimes the talent level drops off a lot going to round 4. Now I'll be rooting for the Cowgirls to lose...
That's a very good deal for the Steelers, especially considering that Jones was done here.
Broderick Jones for Pickens? LOL
He played well, IMO. Someone will likely snap him right up.
Wonder if we got anything more than a plate of barbecued ribs in return? Now who do we get to fill his place as reserve LT?
I've been a Dylan Cook supporter, especially after his solid play at LT at the end of last season. That said, I can't describe his performance...
Solidly on his way to a Darwin Award nomination. What a numbskull. Only thing dumber is Steelers' brass from bringing him here.
Seriously, he's showed more than Roman Wilson in these preseason games.
oops
Vision suspect, too.
Well, there were these pilgrims who came to the new world... :lolol:
I agree with you about Jones, but I thought Cook looked pretty good when he was on the left side (not the right). If you're putting your hopes...
Howard's and Allar's performances were to be expected given their level of experience playing NFL football. I am not shocked nor am I anywhere...
Well, the Steelers might feel differently. A ways to go yet, but tonight's game didn't seem to bolster the case for those young QBs.
