The Steelers were always held to a higher standard than the rest of the league. That's what made them different. Lately, not so much.
The one that always stood out the most to me (Steelers-wise) was taking Plaxico Burress instead of Brian Urlacher.
The Steelers missed the opportunity to draft an all pro linebacker. Nothing changes that fact.

I couldn't agree more. That was the benefit of L Bell, a running back who could play wide receiver.
Maybe he'll choose to pass to the running backs, something for everyone.

I think it was a fine pick by the Steelers. I don't put much stock in a second-hand tweet that the media chose to run with.
I found it odd that they laid off picking any other wide receiver until the 6th rd if they planned on taking one in the 3rd.
