Herbig wants to be a starter if Highsmith and Watt are returning in 2027, I doubt Herbig will re-sign with the Steelers.

He hired them duh :facepalm:. A defensive coach isn't going to personally develop a QB but the culture and system matters.
Especially since Rodgers probably won't play in the preseason, they can get a long look at the two young guys.
Because Black wasn't good when playing NT, he played better when he was at DT.
Even some of the good offensive minded HCs fail at developing a QB, Shanahan traded up for Trey Lance and couldn't develop him.
Ben developed into a hall of fame QB under Tomlin :shrug:
