I don't care what anybody says... defense wins championships. New England had just enough D to get to the Super Bowl. The Patriots D did well...
I'm not going to throw a fit if the Steelers sign Bell. I hope you're right about fixing those 2 spots being the remedy to the Steelers woes on...

I don't know about that. Packers struck gold with Rodgers after Favre. Seahawks eventually got Wilson after Hasselbeck left. Ravens got Flacco...
It's a shame, but the Steelers are in rebuild mode even though they have a championship caliber offense. And honestly, the options are not good...

Heyward had a great regular season... playoff game vs. Jaguars, not so much.
I liked that game because the offense finally delivered to it's potential. Problem is, that's the game where the D started to implode.
I got to see 1 Steelers game at 3 Rivers along with several Pirates games and the Grateful Dead a few months before Jerry Garcia died. 3 Rivers...
Titans game. Low stress... everything seemed to be clicking.
More like the past 10 years on Safeties. Troy Polamalu and Chris Hope were pretty good, last time I checked.
If Bell is signed... I hope it's only for 3 years max. IMO, Steelers should draft a RB in the 2nd round anyway....whether Bell signs or not.
