I'm shocked none of the Packers teams throughout the decades made the list. They were bad in the 80's... but 90's to present, they've been...
Steelers lost a 2nd round pick... and have to rely on 3rd rounders to make up for the loss due to the Bush trade. So yes... it's all relevant.
Yeah, but there's a big goose egg for the Steelers in the Super Bowl win column.... like Vikings, Bills, Eagles and and 70's Rams.
Plax was a good player and needed badly at the time... but yeah. Urlacher would have been a badass in black and gold.
If Johnson and Layne turn out to be solid contributors.. the price paid for Bush will be worth it. If those guys don't pan out... then yeah, it...
"Botch" is a strong word. Let's see how Edmunds' 2nd year pans out before we condemn the Steelers for another 1st round whiff.
It's happened before. Remember Jevon Kearse? Steelers picked WR Troy Edwards and missed out on an all pro OLB/DE. I'm still holding out hope...
Agree. I remember Madden saying after '03 draft that Ike Taylor was the worst pick ever for the Steelers.
The greatest QBs usually want to throw the damn ball. ... more often than not.
True...but sad thing is Tom Brady is probably 2nd behind Ben in wins at Heinz Field ...ahead of Stewart and Maddox.
Steelers are #7 in the AFC at best. For all we know at this point... even the Ravens and Browns could be better.
Agree with BBH. Defense and coaching are Steelers biggest weaknesses. This makes them inferior to NE, KC, LAC, Jax, HOU, IND.
I'm sick of all the delusions. This team was destroyed by Jacksonville in the playoffs 17 months ago... didn't make the playoffs 7 months ago...
Please... give me some of what you are smoking. Indy, Jax, Houston and LAC all have better rosters and coaching than the Steelers. Steelers are...
Wasn't Tony Dungy an average NFL player for the Steelers? He ended up being a pretty good coach.
There's gonna be a strike before next CBA is negotiated. NFL hasn't had a strike since the early 90's. This means the Redskins will win the...
On paper... the Browns have a strong roster. Whether that translates to a winning record and division title remains to be seen. Of course... on...
For the record, I'm Mr. Negative around here and in my opinion... Edmunds has shown more promise than J.Jones, Dupree or Burns ever did.
Based on what? Bush hasn't played a snap yet.
