Personally, I would do away with the extra point kick, and put the ball at the 1 1/2 yard line for 1 point. And spot it at the 2yard line or so...

What about a rule that makes a FG worth only 2 pts when 50+, and only worth 1 pt when from 60+. More incentive to continue the drive to the goal...
