On that point, we agree. I doubt that is going to happen. I expect them to give Bush every opportunity to be what they drafted him to be.
He wasn't the only problem. Nobody said that. He was the vastly overpaid problem, therefore he is gone.
I thought the same thing. They got him relatively cheaply, too. It still ticks me off.
He started at least 15 games two of the last three seasons.
Barkley had one great season and one good one. Then he blew out his knee and his days of living up to his draft status are probably already behind...
Yup. I wouldn't mind seeing him come back, but at that salary, cutting him was a no-brainer.
Yeah, he and the rest of that run defense were just a brick wall. :roflmao:
Good for him. He should have played better before he got hurt.
I acknowledged that there is more money available now. There are also more options at receiver available now. Teams are looking at that draft...
Why? Seriously, nobody was ready to give him a high offer last year. He passed on a prove-it deal from the Ravens to take one with the Steelers....
That is closer to appropriate, but I say offer him the same prove-it deal they gave him last year. Why should he get more when he did so little on...
That is still way too much. He has proven to be exactly what I said he was, a good player whose numbers were inflated by the team around him in...
Smith-Schuster is not worth $15 million a year at this point, certainly not with a deep group of free agents and a draft that is loaded at wide...
Funny. I would think a Steelers fans would have actually watched the games and noticed just how badly Schobert played most of last season. I guess...
He did? The last I heard on the topic was this interview with Rooney, which in no way offered that sort of clarity....
Schobert was a hell of a player three years ago. The last two seasons, he has not been good at all.
I think it is more a matter of this being Colbert's last six weeks as GM and he actually has cap room to work with for once.
That's exactly what I have been hoping will happen. There seems to be such a limited market for him, but he can certainly still be a factor for...
Bush is a lot cheaper. There was no way they were going to keep Schobert over him.
I wrote that I agree with you that he is a good addition. After Daniels, he is my favorite of the additions so far. I do think his level of play...
