The Steelers should strongly consider P Bobby Cowan who was waived by the Rams Tuesday.
That's a little hyperbolic, no?
True. Howard Jones is a fan favorite, but I didn't see enough from him in preseason to see the great appeal. As things being funny around here,...
You'd have to take that up with those idiots who run the team. The ones who gave him the starting job, or the keys to the city as you say.
Steelers had Army Ranger Alejandro Villanueva in for a workout today. Read more~...
Josh Gordon's 1 year suspension is being upheld upon appeal.
I thought it would be good to have a thread dedicated to players the Steelers could or should be interested in on the waiver wire or free agent...
:lolol:
Nah. He's a 'just in case' extra arm for Thursday.
Yeah, we couldn't afford him, but the price is too high anyway. His salary for this year is over $6 Mil. Pats got a TE in the deal, too.
I think (and hope) this team shops the waiver wire/FA for cornerbacks and offensive linemen. Certainly wouldn't hurt to kick the tires on Dowling...

Cam Thomas and Tuitt, not that I disagree about signs pointing towards McCullers making the roster. They didn't give him a bunch of time at DE for...
Ken's wrong.
Not for nothin, but Santonio was traded.
Elkins, Poole, Ingram, McCray, Arnfelt and Fangupo are the remaining cuts.
He is practice squad eligible. I can't go digging at the moment, but I'm not so sure he even has 1 accrued season. I know he doesn't have 2...
He was serviceable IMO, though, IIRC he had an issue with shanking punts out of bounds.
He hasn't been able to crack a roster since the team waived him. Statistically, he's performed worse than Brad Wing this preseason.
