They gave him way too much time to throw there. Nobody on this team can cover Adams.
Either someone was open and Pickett didn't see it or the Raiders just did a nice job with the initial coverage.
This is the third game of the guy's career and every scouting report said he was going to need a little time to develop. That was a truly terrible...
So, did they take every starting linebacker off the field for this series?
That was yet another hit to Pickett's head on that sack. It would be nice if the officials threw the damn flag.
That was roughing the passer. The pass rusher hit Pickett in the head.
Pickett and Heyward were not on the same page there.
I did tell you he can throw deep. :)
Yes, they do have a first down. If the offense passes the line to gain for a first down on a touchdown, it counts as a first down.
Maybe that will get Pickett going. By the way, so much for the theory that he can't throw deep.
Great job by Warren and Pickett actually hung in there and threw a perfect deep ball.
Austin!
You're kidding yourself on that last one. Tomlin isn't going anywhere. I actually think the best thing they can do for Pickett right now is give...
Peterson was sprinting to get there, so that's not so easy. The real issue was Wallace getting cooked immediately.
Of course, Wallace got torched again.
Ugh. Alexander has to make that tackle cleanly.
It's time to bench Pickett. Whatever has him regressing, he clearly isn't able to work through it this way.
That is not a fumble.
Even with help, Wallace can't come close to covering Adams.
I have no problem with anything Pickett did on third down until the throw. Instead of settling down and making a good throw, fired it high.
