It doesn't matter. As a 3rd TE or a FB the routes will more than likely be a short outside slant, middle comeback, or flat as the check-down guy....
The 3rd TE typically doesn't play on the line. They are several steps off of the line. He'll be fine.
He plays both TE and FB.
The Steelers are predicted to win 7 games this year. So if the Steelers when 8 games then that is a successful season
So force him to stay on the roster if he doesn't want to be there and let him become a distraction?
Steelers were 7-4 at that point in the season but where 4-1 during the stretch that Blount wanted out. It's Tomlin's job to win games, not give...
They wouldn't have had one anyways. He was causing problems off the field, therefore he wouldn't have been there to back anyone up.
What is this list? Talent or just overall person?
I have to commend Tomlin for keeping him in line as long as he did.
Two different positions.
I do. So the NFL did not get a salary cap until 1994. Before that the Steelers were constantly one of the lowest payrolls in the league mainly due...
How are the Steelers cheap when they year in and year out spend up to or near to the cap?
I don't disagree about drafting Creed, I would have rather had him than Freiermuth
Just like taking a couple of average rookies via the draft wouldn't fix it.
Then he continued to fall to the middle of the 3rd round. Obviously no body liked him in round 2 and half the teams didn't like him in round 3.
All I'm saying is that IF they knew he wasn't coming back for sure I don't think they would rely on a 3rd round pick with a questionable work...
So if he's a round 1 talent you don't think they would take round 1 talent in round 3 regardless of Tuitt's status? FFS
A round 3 comp draft pick doesn't mean Tuitt isn't coming back.......Round 1 or 2 maybe.
Regarding point 2, you wanted them to go with the guy that fell to the middle of round 3 in the 2nd round? How is Alualu going to turn 36 soon...
