I imagine Watson gets the recall. Other guys out there? Ryan Matthews Tim Hightower Karlos Williams I doubt anyone but an ex Steeler gets...
I believe the argument is that he was in the act of going to ground during the catch. Which is a **** argument.
Taunting is a pretty crap penalty anyway. I don’t think I’ve ever seen consistent calling on it.
And if we had Haden... Or if Sutton had started earlier in the year and got up to speed quicker... Or if we had Shazier... Or if Brown was still...
Yeah, this about sums up my view as well.
I agree. It was a good call, even if the Pats knew it was coming. If there was nothing, then Ben has to throw it out the back of the end zone....
As I said in another thread - it's about consistency. Call them both TDs, or call neither of them TDs. Your officiating crew has thrown flags...
I agree with the OP. It was absolutely gutting to lose last night, but when the mist has cleared there definitely some things to take heart from.
I’m actually less annoyed by the TD overturning than the PI on the fake spike. It’s not about the game being rigged, it’s about the refs...
...playing without their best player on offense and defense, and with an officiating crew unable to throw a flag on at least two glaring end zone...
The receiver was getting held throughout the catch. That's not on Ben.
I mean Jesus ****ing Christ, the DB was holding his ****ing arm back. THROW A ****ING FLAG.
Ah. That wasn't how it was meant to end.
Oh come on man, you can't call that back.
JESSIE JAMES! GET IN!
And I repeat: I really hate Gronkowski.
No flag for block in the back on th epunt return? Seriously???
Ugh, Rogers was wide open on that play.
Maybe run that pass play the play before, rather than run on 2nd and 98 or whatever it was.
Get your head in the game 78!
