P. Manning also has 800 more yards and almost twice as many TDs as Ben. Apparently he doesn't need to throw the ball more than 20 yards.

That I can see but I don't think he lost sight of the sidelines due to snow on the field.
The snow next to the out of bounds area was cleared. Not sure how that would have had an impact on him stepping out.
