Yup. Smoke and mirrors, Tomlin's specialty.
The 6'-5" QB could have been told to play under center.
Not when you consider an all-pro LB was drafted shortly after Edmunds, and it's likely Edmunds would have been available in later rounds.
Imagine what this game would look like if the Browns roster was intact...
Biggest draft mistake Tomlin has made. (or whoever drafts the players)
But he's sitting at home.
This offense was exposed 2 months ago by the Ravens. Everyone knew it...except Tomlin.
I figured the city of Pittsburgh dissolved the Steelers franchise.
Agreed. They probably never practiced what to do in that scenario. That's why they both stood there looking at each other.

Angus burgers for me and the boy, veggie burgers for wife and the girl.
Hot tamale!
That sounds like me, when I watch a football game with my wife. ;+);+);+);+)
Like I said, Rivers takes a lot of heat around here.
Rivers takes a lot of heat around here. I'm indifferent towards him, but he will be a first ballot HOFer, and well deserved.
I wouldn't put that loss on Rivers from what I saw, but I missed a lot of the 3rd quarter.
He would work nicely too. Taylor is more of a bruiser, which I like.
Jonathon Taylor is the type of RB the Steelers need, a guy who can create yards on his own.
Business as usual for the 2020 season.
No matter which team it happened to, there really would be no other option at this point than to play it as scheduled.
