I'm a Steeler and a Buckeye fan. I just don't have the words. This is a gut punch.

    RIP Dwayne

He just posted this video yesterday clowning with Najee. You never would have thought he wouldn’t be here 24 hours later.

So sad. So young. 24 years old is no time to die.

Unreal. I have followed this team since I was little over 30 years. I don't remember an active player ever passing away.

Terrible accident and way to young to go. RIP Dewayne.

Thoughts go out to his fiancé and his family...

This is way too eerie. Out here in San Diego just a couple days ago a semi pro football player almost the same age had a flat tire and was struck and killed by a vehicle as he was working on it while one of his teammates was watching out for him. Crazy.....

Truly a shame. Prayers go out to his family. Way too young for this to happen to anybody.

On a side note, the QB room continues to shrink

Same here. 24 years old. 24. All of the many wonderful experiences in life that he'll never have now. Awful.

And yes, if anyone does have any additional information, please post what you know, preferably with links. Thanks.

Dying at 24 leaves a lot of years on the table. We argued on this board about what he was and what he could have become. We will never know now. I guess fate plays favorites.
