    Should watch them.
There not typical Adam Sandler films.

Oh yeah, I've seen all of them at various points of my life, lol. Omega Man was the first one I saw when I was a kid, before I ever even heard of Legend.

Ironically the very first adaptation was written by Richard Matheson himself and his script was changed so much he demanded his name be removed from the movie.

I'm more forgiving to the other three movies because they had the courtesy to not use the books name.

Yeah. When I first saw Punch Drunk Love, I didn't like it at all. Then I saw it again, and loved it. Maybe I was just having a bad day that day

Big fan of Richard Matheson. He wrote the short story Keller that appeared in that great literary masterpiece Playboy Magazine which was then converted to the incredible movie "Duel" for TV with the great Dennis Weaver. Probably the best made for TV movie that was directed by some young and unknown guy named Steven Spielberg. :thumbs up:

Great flick! I remember seeing it when it came out. Wasn't that a Thursday night movie, or something?

Yeah one of those TV movie nights. Found it on DVD about 10 years ago. Used to drive that road a lot where it was filmed, Soledad Canyon Rd that parallels the 14 north out of LA. And yes the train tracks cross that road several times along that canyon corridor.

Matheson also wrote the Kolchak movies: The Night Stalker and The Night Strangler.

And the Zuni Fetish Doll story from Trilogy of Terror was based on his short story Prey. Its one of the finest examples of horror ever made albeit telly, movie, or book.

    The Wizard of Oz.
I think I may hate that film more than Forrest Gump.
