The Steelers lack of depth at wide receiver

I saw this morning on the NFL Network that the Seahawks are seeking a trade for DK Metcalf. Seattle is in a rebuild mode and Metcalf is disgruntled about it and wants traded. I'm sure their asking price is high though. They discussed something like this years first and second and next year's fifth round for him. That's too pricey for me considering how deep the draft is for WR'S.

 

Hell no on Metcalf.

I don't like any offense players that much....unless it's a Qb, and not this year.

 

The Steelers aren't paying a franchise QB money like a lot of the other teams, so they should be able to still field a good offense.

 

Since the OP, the Steelers have drafted:

• Calvin Austin
• George Pickens
• Roman Wilson

That’s reason enough not to draft any receiver

 

4 years later, and they still lack depth at WR. Michael Pittman Jr was a good pick up, but they still need 2 more WRs. Hopefully Roman Wilson will become a solid #3, but I wouldn't count on it.

 

Wilson just needs to work and learn the playbook. He has talent. Maybe he didn't click with Tomlin and his staff.
