i agree. i do like corral. he and howell seem to run the offense pretty instinctively or effortlessly. not sure of the right way to describe them but like it's second nature to them. just a flow that's different then the others.

Yes, guys like Corral and Howell eat, sleep and breath football. They love the game and will fight with every breath they have to win a football game.

Just watched his pro day, impressed...Live arm, ball jumps out of his hand... Throwing motion reminds me of Rodgers...real short and compact, flicks his wrist...but the has zip...dual threat guy with good legs...

Therein lies the conundrum...I don't want him, or any QB at 20....But I don't think he'll be there in the second...

This guy could surprise... Strong arm, good legs, and tough

Tomlin, Colbert, Hunt, Rooney Jr, others. There’s obvious interest.

Where is Matt Canada in all these Pro Days.

I see he attended Pitts Pro Day, but has he made it out of the City for anyone's Pro Day?

Tomlin/Colbert went to Ole Miss pro day over Ohio State today, they probably had some scouts at Ohio State though, maybe no Garrett Wilson or Chris Olave in the first round.

Please No Qb in the 1st round.
Please No Qb in the 1st round.
Please No future Baker, Rosen, S. Darnold, J. Goff, C. Wentz, Haskins, Lamar , and Trubisky in the 1st round.
If you guy want these Qbs so bad.....just wait about 3- 4 years, and You can get them for about nothing, and a bean burrito.

His release was quicker than anyone that I've seen for a while. There is no wind up at all. He brings it quickly back to his ear and boom the ball is out of there in a hurry.

The way the talking heads make it sound Is that Corral is the best fit for Canadas offense,.......... If they are dead set on a QB this year, maybe they go defense in the 1st, then move up in the 2nd for him???

If We get a D player in the 1st, and get one of these yahoo Qbs in the 2nd...I wouldn't like it, but I could live with it. Just don't waste a 1st with all that talent out there, and so much 2 be filled on the team.

You're going to be so upset man. I am sorry lol drat day is going to be sooooo sour for you. The way we are doing business at this point is basically showing that we are on the QB or bust train in the first round this year.

Willis and Pickett will be gone before #20 so I wouldn't be surprised if the Steelers nab Corral in the first.

lmao nice typo spot. I'm usually good at catching those (I am in sales, so I have the tendency to re-read things multiple times before hitting send). But yes, he wont be saying "drat". There's probably going to be a few special characters in there !#$%@&*#^ based on his posting the past few weeks :lolol:

Nah, it’s all a smoke screen. We just want to make everyone else think we’re going QB at #20 so that anyone who is fixated on a particular QB takes one ahead of pick 20 so that a better player at another position gets pushed down to us. ;)

If I was to rank these QBs it would be 1 Corrall 2 Pickett 3 Howell 4 Strong. The two biggest red flags on Willis are to big to ignore. He's inaccurate and can't read defenses. He's not somebody I'd want to run an RPO offense. All the Willis prototypes are struggling in the NFL sans Lamar. If Willis was to be available in the 4th then hell yea I'd risk the project and sees what happens. Corrall definitely has the game to be a top 15 QB in the league. Howell and Pickett will be serviceable backups. QB is a very hard pass for me. None are worth trading up for and frankly I'd pass at 20. Ridder in the 3rd seems attractive, if we're drafting a QB.

    :lolol:

I’m prepared for it. I’m of the mind they won’t get him, I don’t get the feeling they will move up for him and will let the board come to them.

I could see them taking Ridder in the 2nd if he makes it.

Ridder in the 2nd could be good value. I think it’s unlikely that he’ll ever be a star, but he can be better than guys like Wentz, Winston, and yes, Trubisky, that are getting repeat starting opportunities. He’s also a mature guy and family man already at his age, so there seems to be little off field risk.
