This was a great deal for JuJu. He was willing to take less to come back to Pittsburgh and play with Ben for another year. Obviously, this was also going to help him in the long run for another contract. Unfortunately, Ben threw one too many hospital balls getting JuJu injured early for what could have been a lucrative contract year. JuJu will play well with KC and be a major contributor. I have no doubt he gets paid in 2023. Good Luck to JuJu and thank you for your service. It has been a pleasure to watch you enjoy the game and not be a "me first" player.

$10 mill. is a pretty good gig to ride the bench, though... Good for JuJu...

Why are people assuming that there won't be a competition for QB1... If people consider 2nd year Mason, then yes, I'd lean toward Trubisky starting. However, a veteran Mason Rudolph is a dangerous QB... Also, consider who was the QB coach until last season... Yeah, Matt Canada, the current OC...
Hot take: Not only will Mason Rudolph be the starter, He will be one of the top-5 QBs as far as yardage next season....

Way way way to early for that kind of talk but I was watching the talking heads on NFL Network and for fun they were guessing who would be in SB next season. TB vs KC - - Rams vs KC - - SF vs KC it's all KC. Zero respect for the Bengals.

I'm glad he's gone and his his childish behavior. Cya Juju. Enjoy making idiotic tictok videos with Mahomes younger brother. They can call themselves the Island Boys II. I'm still livid about him being happy and having a good time on the sidelines while we're getting our asses kicked in the playoffs. Unforgivable.

With Hill, Kelce and Hardman I doubt it. He won’t even break 500 yards.

I for one am actually glad he’s gone. Especially since his mom is bashing the Steelers now. He needs to get off the tit. Now this team can focus on winning instead of Tik Tok. Jujus production can be matched by drafting a decent WR. One that can atleast stretch the field.

He settled for another prove-it deal, as I expected.

And the season after that and so on. I liked his production but can be replaced. Colbert will find a few gems in the draft and they will add a FA.

Yeah looks like only 2.5 is fully guaranteed. With 1.5 of that being the signing bonus. Up to $500k in per game roster bonuses as well.

Steelers definitely knew something was wrong with his health. JuJu is counting on killing it this year (healthy) in that offense so he can get a multi year deal next offseason.

Something is not passing the smell test.

Would you sign Jarvis Landry to the same contract JuJu just signed? 1 year 3.25 million with 7 million in bonuses if he leads the league in receiving and we make it to the Super Bowl?

Would we be a better team with Landry in and JuJu out?

I would happily give Landry 2 years $15m or something along those lines

He is as tough as nails, rarely misses games, good hands, will block and do the dirty work etc. great player that would provide leadership in the locker room as well as a reliable target in the slot.

Ok ... so we have DJ and Claypool. Is there anybody waiting in the wing for a chance? And, I'm told the draft is deep this year with wr's ... but who are they? We strengthen ourselves and then a week later ... back to being needy

I honestly think there is 25 great Wrs in the Draft, and most will matter what Qb they go 2.

It is pretty scarry when you look at the ESPN Depth chart. I am surprised some of these names are not playing in the XFL to gain experience.

You know something that was brought up as well that we haven't touched on.

He had a dead money cap hit for this league year anyway because of the contract void year stuff. That most probably had an impact on how much the Steelers were willing to give him in new money.

Can't really look at it as they let him go for peanuts when they would have had to eat that on top of what they were already on the hook for.
