    Hypothermia :lolol:

I’m just saying, like the Rams, the Browns aren’t going to mind this trade if they win a SB in the next few seasons.

Going to the Superbowl out of the AFC next year will be a tough road for the Browns. The entire AFC West is loaded, the North has the Bengals who won the AFC last year and the Steelers and Ravens are both solid teams. The East has the Bills who are maybe the best team in the AFC and the Patriots who were in the playoffs. The South have the Titans who are no slouches and the Colts who if they land Jimmy are a decent team. There are going to be some really good teams in the AFC that won't even make the playoffs next season.

Oh trust me, the last statement you stated I am well aware. All the more reason that I did say Watson made out like a bandit. I do believe that Watson no doubt wants to win a Super Bowl. I also believe that Watson will be very appeased should he fall short year after year as all of his money is fully guaranteed.

No matter how this works for Cleveland, Watson wins big time in the end; controversy or otherwsie.

You also need to look up the definition of hypothetical or hypothermia maybe.

Trouble is, I’m not sure there are any top QBs in this draft class.

Browns may have helped the Steelers possibly still pick up a QB in the First Round.
    That’s one less contender.

They are thinking they just added an elite quarterback to a roster that was already strong.

No, he really didn’t struggle. He was fantastic in 2020. The team around him sucked.

I’m not suggesting that there will be special treatment for the Browns. What I’m saying is don’t you think that anyone that was interested in trading for Watson would at least check with the league to see what the possibilities were for suspension before making a trade. If anyone thought a lifetime ban was at all possible they wouldn’t make that trade.

They can’t show the “at home with DeShaun” commercials on TV.

Watching all the sports talk shows......ESPN, fox sports, NFL network, etc...... They all seem to think this was a great deal for the Browns, and they're a immediate super bowl contender. None are saying anything about Watson being suspended. Maybe he won't get any game penalties. Nothing about that has been mentioned at all. Just curious why that is.

They probably have a policy of not discussing upcoming legal cases? It’s hard not to discuss the move in that context however. There is still significant risk here for the Browns.

Looking on Twitter it seems a lot of Browns fans are disgusted by the move and do not support what the team have done. The fan base was always going to be divided wherever he went I suppose.

It's last off-season all over again. Browns to the Super Bowl, crown 'em!!!

Watson hasn't played football in how long? Yes yes I'm sure he has stayed in shape and yada yada yada, it isn't the same as playing (ask Le'veon). It'll take him a bit to get back to where he was, if he ever does. And I'm not even going to mention the legal matters he's got ahead of him. Is it an upgrade for them? Sure. But they're by far a lock to win the division even.
