I heard they are working on Minkah and DJ. Think I saw Kaboly say that. Hopefully that is true.

I have a feeling JuJu will be back.

They definitely need someone that can spread the field, find that guy and have DJ, Juju and hopefully a maturing Chase and you have a really decent wr and TE receiving Core.

The Trubisky effect. No one wants to be embarrassed by him twice a year

Smith-Schuster is not worth $15 million a year at this point, certainly not with a deep group of free agents and a draft that is loaded at wide receiver.

Both Rodgers and the Packs got what they deserved. A prima donna QB with no one to throw to

    I was thinking a little lower, 3 year/40 million.

Wow! The Seahawks are going all in for a Lombardi. They signed Artie Burns yesterday and now they want to bring in Mayfield for the final piece of the puzzle.lol

That is still way too much. He has proven to be exactly what I said he was, a good player whose numbers were inflated by the team around him in 2018.

Most of the time, he is an easy kid to like. He's tough. He blocks. It seems as if he works his ass off. I get why people overvalue him, but that's exactly what you are doing.

He got a one-year, $8 million prove-it deal last season. What exactly did he prove by catching only 15 passes for 129 yards in five games before getting hurt? I get that the offense handcuffed him, but Johnson still managed to produce. There were opportunities for Smith-Schuster to step up in those games before he got hurt, but he did not do so. He did absolutely nothing last season to earn a raise, yet you think he should get a big one? That makes no sense at all.

That is closer to appropriate, but I say offer him the same prove-it deal they gave him last year. Why should he get more when he did so little on his last prove-it deal?

Sign Juju, DJ, Minkah, Badger and draft DT, WR, Edge/OLB, CB with 1-4. Works :lolol:

I was hoping he was joking when he said that, but yeah spot on. If I was gonna pay 15 mil it would be for a Allen Robinson, not JuJu. I wonder if the Steelers even considered him.

There is always a team with deep pockets. Someone will give JuJu a high offer.

With all these signings and Flores/Austin coming in, I would be shocked if we don’t finish as a legit defense near the end of the season. I expect a lot of growing pains on both sides though…

Why? Seriously, nobody was ready to give him a high offer last year. He passed on a prove-it deal from the Ravens to take one with the Steelers. What did he prove? Nothing, except that his production in 2018 was overinflated by the team around him. Smith-Schuster did absolutely nothing in 2021 to raise his value. I get that there is more money available this time around, but there is also a draft coming that is absolutely loaded at wide receiver.

Robinson had 38 rec for 410 yards. JuJu is easily worth 13 million, we saw what he means to this team when he went down, they missed him. Why are you citing last years numbers in a cap strapped year for the league. Everyone was getting low contracts. Wasn’t a true value.

What you think doesn’t set the market, whats being paid out does. You think Kirk is worth 4/72 million?

Steelers may not pay it but I think that’s what JuJu will get.

I have a good friend close to the Falcons' front office who says they're prepared to spend on WRs for Watson. Watson also has spoken with some friends he'd like to come along, if it's the Falcons. Take it with a grain of salt but he's a really reliable source.
