Not worried personally. This just tells me that both the Raiders and Chargers have had it with Kansas City and are now doing all they can to get after their rear ends. Devante Adams is just another component to do so; an important one for certain.

Ball is in Derek Carr's court now. Same goes for both Brandon Staley and Justin Herbert; more so Staley. Do not count out Denver either.

AFC West is going to be a blood bath and all games from that division alone DESERVE prime time TV Slots.

They couldn't afford him after Rodgers deal. How sad has the league become when most of the cap is tied up in a few players.

All the more reason that Green Bay better make the most of those picks acquired for Devante Adams. If they do not... yikes!!

It was a given IMO. That's why I really thought they would let Rodgers go and give Love a chance... sign Adams long term and try to keep/ build the rest up

Rodgers will be retired before Adams contract expires.

Only thing that will makw this funnier is if Rodgers and Brady both stink up the joint next year

They offered him a deal for about 23 million a year and he turned it down.

If Green Bay does not hit on those picks received by Las Vegas, Rodgers is likely to be the first. Tom Brady still has the likes of Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and others.

Now I get why Rodgers has issues with Management.

He gets no help from them.

Maybe they’ll take those 2 picks and get 2 WR?

If Rodgers really wanted to win, he wouldn’t have strapped them with a 200 million contract. Blame lays with him.

GB still offered Adams 23 million, wasn’t enough for him.

Maybe if he didn’t insist on being the highest paid QB they could have afforded some talent. A quarter of the allowable salary is eaten up by him. No player is worth that

I e said it a few time and I feel inclined to repeat. Should be be looking at the reduction of QB importance. Nothing against Neil or kordell or tomzack or Maddox but I feel like they always kept it competitive.
They won't win you the game but can lose it, multiple times.

Look at past SB winners. Not a 1 in recent history has had a QB account for more than 13% of cap.
It's a bold statement but I'll make the claim.
You can't win a SB with that much tied up in 1 position.

The same idea of your high QB rookie contracts. They were squashed and given a ceiling. I would suggest team to work with a "cap ceiling" for their QB.

Problem is jersey sales. It's easier to sell a Rodgers jersey than a Trent dilfer jersey. I think owners (some) may be ok with a home playoff game and jersey sales.

Lol I love threads like these. Reminds me of the "Kevin Pickett PSU QB" thread. Gold.

He got shipped to Vegas and now is career is Al Dente.

Anyways...I wonder what Rodgers’ reaction to this? He can’t be happy, right? Odds are those picks won’t help him next year as rookies.

Rogers only has himself to blame. The raiders are a fourth place team now in that division. New head coach will be at New England calling plays in three year or less
