Green could be a better Guard than Center.

Did the Adams signing signal that won't reach for a true NT in the draft?

I hope wouldn't pass on Jordan Davis at #20 because we just signed Adams.

Maybe, maybe he wins a spot but he is a 3rd rd pick and I don’t think they will have any qualms moving him to the bench.

I think the Adams signing is really more about flexibility. If there's someone there they like in the draft then they can grab him, but they're not forced to do it.

Really like the Daniels signing. I'm a lot more positive about how the line looks now - especially if Dotson and Moore can grow into their roles.

I feel Adams is so athletic he could probably play anywhere on the line if he doesn't become the NT starter.

You really need to learn to look at more than the team's record when judging a quarterback. It makes you look like you don't know what you are talking about.

Burrow's team was absolutely horrible his rookie season. They were 2-7-1 when he tore up his knee.

You did notice that he put up huge numbers while leading his team to a Super Bowl appearance this past season, right?

Agreed. I'm also not sure he is a full-time starter. He seems like a guy who can start, but could also work as a backup who gets a lot of time in the rotation.

I think his point was to the people saying Watson is no good based on his record. It’s a dumb short sighted way to evaluate.

What about a starting safety? We only have 1 unless we're rolling out killebrew to start?

Yeah we still have holes. But ILB and CB stick out to me most.

We should not say mean things just because people see things differently.
If I'm not mistaken that's Your go 2 when I say Lamar is No good. You automatically bring up His record. No???
Not 2 single You out. I promise, but I see this all the time by different comments, and people. Seems it's all about the Qb , and whom likes whomever whether the win loss record counts.

    Well....!!!

    @Blast Furnace....

You may just get your wish... provided if the Panthers pull off the DeShaun Watson trade of course. Still nothing set in stone but all these moves are not just for Mitchell Trubisky alone; nor should they be.

    I'd only argue we need 2 ilb 2 CB and 2 s.

We may not like the 2 ILBs and Cbs but at least we have 2!

It's obvious he is not am NFL center. Have no issue keeping him as a back.up G and giving him another year in an NFL weight room. In the open field his athleticism is apparent, but he gets knocked off the line.

If the Steelers take Willis in the first round I'll..........:puking2:

Since the Steelers are spending money on the O-line in Free Agency... they should go all in on DE, ILB and CB in the first 3 rounds... BPA.

I think that there's truth in that without a doubt.
Colbert openly regretted not signing another lineman (or maybe 2)
He certainly covering the bases this year.

He's also playing into the schema I kind of figured he might.
That is, addressing the OL and opening up possibilities of drafting a QB if the right one is there.

I was a bit surprised they didn't go after CB to upgrade. There were/are some good fits out there.

I think LB will come via the draft.

I'm thinking getting that ILB from Georgia. And in the second getting Ridder, if he's there.

Again, not saying this will happen. Bear in mind that Watson is still out there. For your sake, praying that they do acquire him would be a good start. Still not end all be all as Willis could possibly be drafted higher.

For me, even with the signings of both Cole and Daniels (a lineman I thought the Steelers had little to no interest in due to him being from Iowa), I am still in the mindset of the team not getting a QB in Round One UNLESS Malik Willis is within striking distance. Should a team trade into Top 5 to get him, all bets are off by that point; doubtful that the Steelers would trade heaven and earth at that.

    Now, I do believe this could possibly take us out of the Zion Johnson sweepstakes all together for I do not see the team giving up on Kevin Dotson. However, given the fact that Witherspoon is still not signed, should this continue or if he signs elsewhere... @S.T.D will get his wish via a Corner in Round One. If I am @S.T.D, I would want two options;

    1.) Andrew Booth Jr.

    2.) Roger McCreary.

    3.) Ahmad Sauce Gardner

    4.) Kaiir Elam

*** Honorable Mention: Derek Stingley Jr. ***

    All in order mind you.

Personally speaking, I do not believe Nakobe Dean is the solution to the Steelers problems at ILB. Now granted, he still does possess the best instincts of any linebacker and has arguably the best instincts of any defender. However, all of this comes at a price; size. He sure is not moving players around and needs to be kept clean to make plays; much like Devin Bush. This team needs a BUCK linebacker; Leo Chenal, Damone Clark, Darrian Beavers or even Brandon Smith. MACK type linebackers like him will not help as the team has too many of those as it stands.

On that note.... neither Rashaan Evans nor LVE have gotten looks. If I were the Steelers... I would at least consider those two options before addressing that in the draft.

I still would have had gone with Jacoby Brissett over Trubisky.

Definitely lining up that way. I can’t say if they will take him if he even falls into their lap, though. I think they may be setting themselves up to take the best defensive player available in the first.

Or maybe they hope to be able to draft Willis and redshirt him.
