Higher than Mahommes and Watson, also.

Rudolph has played in 17 games, 10 of them starts. He has completed 61.5 percent of his passes for 2,366 yards, 16 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. He has thrown touchdowns on 4.2 percent of his passes and interceptions on 2.9. His average yards per attempt is 6.2. That's not all Canada. His average was 6.2 in 2019. He has never played in a playoff game. He has rushed the ball 33 times for 89 yards, an average of 2.7 per carry.

Trubisky has started 50 games and played in 57. He has completed 64.1 percent of his passes for 10,652 yards. He has thrown 38 touchdowns, a bit lower in percentage (4.0). He has thrown 38 interceptions, also a lower percentage (2.4). His yards per attempt is better at 6.7. He has actually been a starter for a full season twice, which is better than a guy who struggled to hold off Duck Hodges. He is also a real threat as a runner, with 1,081 yards on 203 career carries, an average of 5.3 yards.

No, their statistics are not comparable. Trubisky's are better as a passer and dramatically better as a runner. He has actually shown some promise in his career. Rudolph has not.

Realistically speaking, Steeler brass isn't expecting this guy to take them to the Super Bowl. They are treading water, signing a vet with significant starting experience that they might just catch lightning in a bottle with. If not, it isn't costing them a big cap hit nor is the transaction costing them draft picks. Why is that so damn hard to understand? Rodgers, Wilson, Carr and Watson were never going to be Steelers. Steelers brass is smart enough to realize they need to re-stock the cabinet. In the mean time maybe, just maybe, Trubisky gets it and becomes a solid starting QB. If not, they try and draft one.

    I imagine that's a typo, but it's 64 TDs not 38.

Kent Graham? He couldn't move if someone zapped him with a Taser. The guy ran like he was in quicksand. At least Trubisky has decent wheels.

I’ll remain cautiously optimistic about the Trubisky signing. The more I read about the situation in Chicago it makes me think he never stood a chance. The coaches were basically blindsided by the pick. They didn’t know the bears were drafting a qb until a couple hours before the pick. Additionally they apparently didn’t do anything to develop him. Basically said sink or swim kid.

My only radio contact while I drive in the afternoon is Cowherd (unfortunately), he is the one who came up with that line about tie odds lol

Me two. When I saw 14m I instantly assumed per year and not total. He's getting paid practically backup QB money.

This is a great move from a smart organization.... Didn't overpay, didn't have to send away draft pics, got a guy who is better than anything at QB on your roster, and also has upside.. Now focus on the trenches in the draft!!!

Do you STILL think we take Pickett if he's there ( I think Willis will be gone ) ...I personally hope not, idk...I just have a feeling Trubisky is gonna be " good " ...Build up the whole team around him AND , he if plays well, which he is capable of...is the best course of action
