    Tom Brady isn't retiring!
Now Ben will be the headliner in the HOF that year.

You have to wait 5 years from when you retire.

(A bit more Steeler related than TB related) ;). Per CBS Sports: "The person who likely had the biggest sigh of relief on Sunday night might have been Ben Roethlisberger. When Brady originally announced his retirement, it meant that he was going to be eligible for the HOF the same year as Big Ben and let's just say that if they went in together, Roethlisberger definitely would have been overshadowed. With Brady playing another year, that likely means they won't go in the HOF together, which means Big Ben should get a big celebration and he won't have to worry about Patriots and Buccaneers fans taking over Canton when he eventually gets inducted."

Pats and Bucs fans would never take over Canton. Brady wouldve been going into the Hall in front of a sea of Steelers fans

Anyone would think Brady didn't plan this all along...he was never going to retire. He just needs it all to be about him. Didn't win the SB? Oh no i'm not the focal point, except yes am I again as I pretend to reitre and then come back...

Step 2, say "Never say never" to get more interest and hype, and then come back.

Orchestrated PR campaign from the moment he walked off the field a loser in the playoffs.

Good news for Ben is that the Steelers signed Mitch Trubisky, so people will miss him even more.

I dont doubt it, but I would think it would be one of the most crowded inductions ever. I do not know if I'll make the game or ceremony, but will def try to schedule some sort of vacation to be in that area so it is a possibility. I prob would have avoided had Brady been going in the same year. Wonder if they would have had the steelers vs pats or the bucs vs pats for the HOF game. We'll never know.

While I believe Ben is a first ballot HOF, I wondered if they would have made him wait a year by inducting one QB (Brady) in that year thus making Ben wait a year. Ben and Brady retiring the same year could have created that scenario.
