Looks like Cam Newtons younger brother. Hard pass on him here.

As far as possible 2nd rd WR picks goes, Christian Watson is tops for me.

i just think there is enough tape out there on him that it wouldn't make much difference either way. if he's a 4.4 or 4.5 guy. teams already know what he is.

Wasn't expecting Matt Corral to come in at almost 6'2/212 lbs. That really surprised me. I thought he'd come in at 0605 and 200 lbs maybe.

I still love Garrett Wilson at 20 if we are going the WR route. I know it all depends on our FA signings and such to see if we have that luxury, but I would be ecstatic to land Wilson here.

On a side note, this is a fast class of WR. Lots of depth.

Olave could be an exceptional value at 20. Was listening to his coach (of course he is only going to be positive), he said his work ethic is exceptional and is the guy who wants to be the guy when the going gets tough.

Phew, I’d lose my mind if they take a WR in rd 1.

Positions I don’t want to see taken in the first, WR, RB, TE, Punter, Kicker, Long Snapper.

A lot of D line depth (so the analyst said today), he felt 8 edge guys could go in the first round.

Really? Our WR room is super bare at the moment. I know FA could change that, but DJ is our only good WR. Claypool might be able to turn it around, but I don't think he's anything more than he's shown so far. After that we have... nothing. If we shore some positions up in FA its likely to be a super high priority for us. If we aren't going to go QB, its certainly a real possibility that WR is on the table.

If we get a stud, why not? Lots of OL depth too. If the difference between a top 10 WR and an average #2 receiver is the difference between our pick at 20 and our second round pick, I wont complain. We wont build a Super Bowl winner in one year. We absolutely could go WR #1.

What if they bring JuJu back? You’d still want a WR round 1?

I disagree about Claypool. Depending on what ends up at QB, I think he bounces back in a big way. He still almost had a 1,000 yard season on a down year.

Not if they bring JuJu back, no. I did say in that post that free agency could change our WR room, but as it stands we are hurting. I know there are a bunch of available guys we could look at like Valdez-Scantling, Lazard, Watkins, AJ Green, Fuller, Beckham Jr, Gallup, etc., so I may change my tune at a later date. If we add in FA or retain Juju its much less of a problem.... However, if we dont add anyone of value and plan on going into the season with just DJ and a hope that Claypool turns it around, I wouldn't be mad AT ALL about a round 1 or 2 WR. It would be a huge need.

As always. I'm super excited 2 watch Defensive players at the combine. I can't help it, and I believe our defense can use the Help.

CB's and LB's baby. Maybe a DT, but much less of a need than the other two.
