I see Wilson acted like a me first ass with his Twitter account.

This is like some other idiot that has been promoted as out next QB.

Just say no to locker room me first cancers.

    AB anyone?

I agree. Just saying if We(Steelers) are being forced by gunpoint 2 trade for a Qb......Wilson (if the hand is good) would be my pick. I myself would not get anyone's leftovers. I like building through the draft, and our Qb being a Guy we pick and grow.
    Hopefully next year. LoL

I used to think I wouldn’t want to be a college coach and deal with a bunch of kids. Now I think I wouldn’t want to be a pro coach and deal with a bunch of kids, with a lot of money, who have worse attitude

    Old guy grumping

It's not necessarily a wrong way to build your final piece. No repeat SB Champs in 20 years, only a few in its entire history. It worked for the Rams this year, as good as Burrows is, Elway has been the only QB to lose his initial SB and return to get a win. It's that hard to get there. Of all teams Denver is probably the closest and could benefit from a 2 year window Wilson or Rodgers may provide..yet the AFC west is a tough place right now.

Now that’s an interesting concept. Maybe have fan message board votes to pick what GMs have to do to avoid being shot

The NFL Dead Zone. The time after the Super Bowl and before the amateur draft. The time of the year when fanbase's can dream of their team adding a couple of pieces to put them over the top.

People, this team is a hell of a lot more than a proven QB from being a contender. Even if they somehow land a Wilson or Rodgers, they are not a threat to win the SB. What Steeler brass projects to John Q. Public and what they say and think behind closed doors are two entirely different topics. They might say they want to win it all every year, and that makes the Nation feel better, but even the Steeler brass is aware that the team "has needs, and they are many" to quote The Emperor.

That is reason one why I think the best they will do this year is probably sign a vet has been or never was for the low, low price of slightly over league minimum, maybe sign an undrafted free agent and let the whole sordid bunch stage a bum fight Battle Royal in training camp for the right to be the day 1 starter. Steeler brass isn't stupid enough to think they are a major free agent QB away from being a legitimate SB threat. Rodgers, Wilson, Watson (gag) or even Derek Carr. Not gonna happen.

So his wife wants out of Seattle and wants to move to Pittsburgh? No offense to Pittsburgh but I don’t see it.

Sergie Zubov of the Penguins wife wanted out of Pittsburgh because she didn’t like the sushi. So he went to Dallas. WTF

If my heart wasn’t born in Pittsburgh, I could move to Seattle ( NW cost) in a heart beat

For Kevin Hatcher who was less than stellar here. It was not one of Craig Patrick's better trades.

The jerk that really pissed me off is that scumbag Todd Graham and his old lady. She didn't like Pittsburgh. So, after promising his players and recruits that he would be there for them, he slinks off to ASU and runs their program in to the ground. Now he is in Hawaii. Good place for both of them. No expectation of building a winning program there, which he isn't capable of. The upshot is that maybe they will get broiled by molten lava. College football is rife with a-holes like him. What gives?

Pitt has no one to blame but themselves for hiring that a**hole. It was apparent from the beginning he had no long term interest here. He wouldn't even step foot in the Steelers facility cause he was a Cryboys fan. He was never professional about anything.

That, and they should have stuck with Dave Wannstedt, a Pittsburgher and a Pitt guy to his core.

Word is he doesn't want to go to the east coast. My guess if he chooses to go anywhere, it would be Denver. Otherwise, he stays in Seattle.

Lesson that never is learned. When you let your wife control your career, you destroy any chance of being good at anything.

There is a reason for the 60% divorce rate. People are stupid. Women who want to control **** that has nothing to do with them is one of the big reasons and men who have imaginary testicles is the other. Put those two together and boom.
