How would you rank the Steelers six Super Bowl wins in terms of difficulty of victory? Winning a Super Bowl game is no easy feat, but in relative terms, which of the Steelers Super Bowl wins was the hardest vs. easiest?

    Hardest:

    1. Arizona - took a very late come-from-behind-drive super catch to take the lead
    2. Dallas Super Bowl X - came down to the very last play
    3. Rams - Steelers trailed going into the 4th quarter
    4. Cowboys XIII
    5. Seahawks
    6. Vikings - Steelers never trailed in the game, Vikings offense had no chance against the Steelers magnificent defense

Thoughts? Your list? Hardest to easiest?

I think super bowl 13 was the best. Trailing the Steelers manage 14 points in the 4th quarter for the win

I agree with your list but I thought the Cardinals was frauds and did not deserved to go to the Superbowl but the Cardinals proved me wrong and should have won if their defense did not blow it

:this!:. Except for the smothering Steelers D in the first SB, none of the others were cakewalks. Unless you re-watch them or have photographic memory, lots of surprise late action, especially games 2-4. I had forgotten how close they all were. The only thing boring is no graphics nor replays. :drinks:

Interesting question. My take, from memory:

    1. Arizona. They were surprisingly tough due to their momentum in the playoffs. They were on magic carpet ride and seemed like the team of destiny. We would have lost if not for James Harrison`s game changing monster pick 6.

    2. Rams. I thought we were playing like a team that was tired of winning and was ready to lose against a solid hungry team. Good thing they could not cover Stallworth because Bradshaw to Stallworth seemed to be all we could do right.

    3. Dallas X. Greatest opposition of all Super Bowls IMO, but we were just a bit greater than them.

    4. Vikings. Not exciting. We just ground this one out and we were the better team.

    5. Seahawks. Most boring of all SB`s. Our lead was not in serious jeopardy, so Cowher played it safe. Nothingbowl.

    6. Dallas XIII. People romanticize this game in their minds as one of the greatest Super Bowls of all time. Brain washing. This game was a blowout with 18 point lead with something like 6 minutes to play. Nickle defense switch allowed Dallas to score quick touchdown, then highly improbable on-sides kick recovery lead to another TD. Even with all that a 4 point lead remained and yet another on-sides kick was needed, which failed with I think was less than a minute left. This game was a blowout where we dominated on offense and defense until we shut things down. Exciting finish? Yeah, but easiest of all wins.
