Anyone remember this game?

I was out of state and at some regular old bar by myself and a few randos who didn’t care about the Steelers or the game. Especially since it was a blow out and “boring” game from them. But I was out of my head over it.

I thought it was just me and my beer goggles, because I sight this game often and get very little feedback. Glad it wasn’t just me that found it incredibly memorable.

His pancake of Ed Reed on the return and ball popped out like 30+ feet in the air lives in my memory rent free.

I remember it. I liked those uniforms too. Although I prefer the current color rush all black and gold, those were still cool uniforms.

Very much remember that game. 2007. Monday Night. 75th Anniversary. We debuted the '63 throwbacks in that game and I wish we kept them instead of the bumblebees or the block number jerseys. Ben threw 5 TD in the first half with less than 200 yards passing because the defense was utterly dominating. I particularly remember the one he placed just over Ed Reed in the back of the endzone, I think it was Santonio that caught it. The game was over by halftime as the Ravens were utterly shell-shocked.

A beautiful night.

I am gonna go rewatch those highlights right now.
