Wow, I have not watched a Pro Bowl in many years, but what I watched today was a complete Joke. They should have the player's wives playing out there instead.

Why are they wearing pads? When did it turn into a 2 handed touch game?

And all those added rules? WTF?

I think a Madden Virtual Pro Bowl game would have been better.

Although, this would have been a huge opportunity for the players to protest the racial head coaching situation in the NFL.

If all the black players would have walked out in the middle of the 3rd Quarter, it would have been an excellent opportunity to show the fans, the NFL executives and the world what an NFL game would look like without them.

What good would that do? Black players walking out on a watered down version of football that very few people even watch anymore? Who would even notice? It would just look like one of the new weird rules for the pro bowl.
It would have as much effect as a "boycott"

That was a walk through practice game.

    NFL just embarrassed itself.

I was done with it when they announced one of the new rules was the defense couldn't "tackle to the ground".

If anyone is watching the Pro Bowl for any other reason than just seeing a bunch of star players on a patch of grass together, they are going to be sorely disappointed.

I always have it on in the background just b/c I enjoy NFL stuff, and to see Steelers players on the field, but never with an expectation of a good game.

NHL ASG = joke NBA ASG = joke NFL ASG = joke

MLB ASG only one that is taken seriously. Not sure but I think the winning league get's home field advantage in the World Series.

The play at the line of scrimmage looked like a walk through.

The MLB All Star Game is the only one where they go at each other.

The skills competition of NHL All-Star weekend easily eclipses the game itself and has for years. As far as the Pro Bowl, I think I might have been in high school the last time I watched one and that's nearly 39 years in the rear-view mirror.

I stopped watching decades ago and I remember when they had was it Deion Sanders and Michael Irvin picking players. To me that was even more ridiculous.

Four worst teams in the league play for the no. 1 pick in the draft, starting the week before the superbowl. Saturday night, before the superbowl, is the loser bowl. I'd watch that!

They still play a Pro Bowl game? That’s news to me. I thought they shifted to touch football on the beach years ago.

Edit: I just searched for highlights from this year’s Pro Bowl. I was right about everything but the beach part.

Funny. The only player that looked like he was actually playing out there was Alvin Kamara with the blood dripping from his hands, but it turns out that was from a fight the night before the game.
