He's an offensive minded HC though. So that definitely contributed. You really think Joe Burrough could accomplish the same with Tomlin and Matt Canada? I sure as hell don't. It just further shows how clueless AR2 is as to what is needed in today's NFL.

I stopped going to game years ago and it has nothing to do with the on field product and everything to do with the environment. I can't stand drunk degenerates yelling in my ear. I still have season tickets and I typically give them to family, sometimes they go, sometimes they don't. People would rather watch the games in my bar room on my 75".

Ben accomplished more with Tomlin as HC .

Lol Burrow hasn't been around long enough. But off to a great start so far. I just have this feeling we could've done more with Ben in later years with a different setup.

Zac Taylor couldn't do **** until Joe Burrow showed up. A head coach is only as good as your QB in today's NFL.

Ben deserves some of the blame for the underachieving.

I don't disagree as I've been quite hard on Ben myself. Just wish we had an offensive guru of some sort.

I was a fan of his at the start. But reading his past employment more closely I'm not. He's like a discount store offensive coordinator.

I'm willing to see what he can do with a different QB.

I use to never miss watching a Steelers game every week. I couldn’t wait. Lately I’d rather go outside and cut grass. These last few years have taken some fun out of it. And it’s not that they sucked, it’s the Ownerships unwillingness to do anything about the below par play and coaching. If they don’t wanna do anything about it why should I invest my time into it.

I love them. We all do. It's just been so boring recently. Stagnant offense, vulnerable defense. I wanted to move on from Ben three years ago. I've wanted coaching changes for a long time. It's hard to spend lots of money on something that can be so frustrating.

Just like Mahomes, J. Allen, Dak, and every Qb that was in the playoffs that are not still there does. You can point 2 a spot in the game each one of them (and the ones I didn't name)didn't show up, or turned the ball over.

I wouldn't put the blame on Allen for them losing this season in the playoffs, the defense and special teams let them down.

I never knew Pit fans were such fairweather fans. I wonder how much of a drop it will be next year with no Ben and maybe even Juju?

I'll still be watching even cliff stoudt starting.

I'm not there yet, but I'm not far from turning this team out. Not because they aren't winning SB's. I don't need them to win SB's. Hell, I'm a Leafs fan, they haven't won a Stanley cup in my lifetime.
What I can't accept as a fan is an owner that appears not to care. I'm getting a little sick and tired of this no losing season narrative. That literally doesn't matter and shouldn't be celebrated. If anything, it shows how much of a failure Tomlin has been. All that regular season success and very little playoff success. Not only do we lose, but we lose to mediocre teams with mediocre QB's.

Ownership just doesn't seem to care. They allow Tomlin to mismanage this team badly. A few more years of this garbage product and no action from ownership and I'm done. It will cause me to believe that they just don't care, and if ownership doesn't care, then I'm done.

I don't know if I will ever "just don't care" even as much as I don't like the offensive schemes, the overall coaching and the no losing season narrative. However I definitely don't have the passion or the excitement I once had for this beloved team. It's not the same watching when you know that a run is coming and the same swing passes that don't work is coming, or passes that are just short of the first down, sometimes you just shrug your head on miss managed clock, miss managed challenges, and owners that are afraid or don't want to make changes for the sake of not wanting to change things.

    Golf says, “Hold my beer.”

But yeah, I’m to the point that I only watch the Steelers. I have too little interest in other games—they don’t keep my attention.

How did a thread on attendance turn into a Tomlin bash? huh?

Maybe you're connecting that those in the burgh knew it was a bad team because Tomlin was the coach?
Maybe those in the burgh knew it was a bad team that didn't have much of a chance?

I guess they knew it was a bad team because Tomlin was coaching?

I mean whatever, just a weird connection to make.
If it's about shaking things up and giving a reason for people to show up then sure. They may turn out for the first game or so but I bet a 4-whatever record will keep people away.

Wins will turn this team around, done and done.
