I think Ben’s gonna be feeling a little like Jan Brady come HOF induction day.:facepalm:

It's likely but not official yet. Tom-Tom might come back for a year just because he didn't get to make the announcement himself!

This was TB12's last best chance to win a SB. I'm actually shocked that he didn't make it to the SB.

I wanted one more Brady vs Mahomes battle.

Why the hell would you want that? He'd probably win again.

Well, I was hoping this time HE would lose like Allen did last week. :taunt:

But he'd still have made it to yet another Super Bowl and why chance it? I want him to go as quietly as possible.

Worst case scenario for me, hate both of them. Would have preferred tommy's last game end with him being taken off on a stretcher.

Their defense was less potent this year and the injuries on offense were tough to overcome. Still don't understand the reasons why they decided a worn down Fournette was a better option than Jones, I mean the guy almost single handedly won games for them last year.

He probably really is retiring. He's just pissed that he didn't get to control the message.

The best thing about this is that other Bucs will probably leave. Time for the Steelers to spend some money on Ryan Jensen. That is the first step toward fixing the offensive line, getting a quality center in the middle of it.

I agree in principle, but not in spending money on a center already 30 years old. Yes OL have can have extended careers. But this team need youth, not paying guys who will break down in a year or two.

I’d be good to have a vet to mentor the young guys.

I don'know, if he goes out like this, he won't get his victory lap like Ben. I don't think many were expecting this to be it. He just had one of his best years.

Maybe the victory lap isn't important to him but I thought for sure he would go another year.

The negative of both Ben and Brady going into the hall of fame in the same year is that for the weeks leading up to it you will be getting non stop Brady coverage and Oh, yeah this Ben guy's getting in too

But the positive of them going in the same year is filling that stadium with Steeler fans and giving Ben the huge standing ovation renegade intro and Brady this polite clap

If you were in the building when the Bus went in.. you know what I'm talking about

I'll believe Brady retired when I see him using a walker in the old folks home.

He's like a horror movie villain. You can't kill him. Or when you think you did, he gets back up.

As mentioned before in Ben's thread I believe there is no way Ben and Brady go in at the same time. Brady is a first ballot and the voters will be reluctant to put both in at the same time. So either Ben goes on his second try or the HOF breaks with tradition and does what the NHL did for Mario and Gretzky and waive the normal 5 year wait to induct him immediately, Brady that is.

Ben will be Sam the Butcher Alice’s boyfriend. The most irrelevant character on there.

It's been 51 years since 2 QB's have gone into the HOF the same year. 1971 had YA Tittle and Norm Van Brocklin go in. It hasn't happened since.
