No reason to change the overtime rules. The suggestion of each team gets it once is silly sooooo it would have been TD chiefs, TD Bills then TD chiefs (for the win) how is that better. A rule change would prolong the game. The chiefs have to play in 7 days if you lengthen the game it will hurt their chances the following week. Hill was cramping during the press conference. The Bills had 3.5 hours to win the game. The Bills thought it was over with :13 seconds play 60 minutes next time

I don’t have a problem with these OT rules. As @DukeDukeDaDaDa said, when you only needed a FG that was absurd.

If you can’t stop them from scoring a TD, you don’t deserve it.

Play some damn defense, to tell you the truth all that scoring at the end was a little off putting.

Furthermore, Buffalo had the game won, 13 seconds? Come on, I don’t care if it’s Mahomes, Brady, Montana or whoever, that’s all on Buffalo for losing that game. That was pathetic of them.

Their offense is too good so we should get a chance? Yeah no. Buffalo had every opportunity and failed.

The thing I find funny is.....if We (Steelers) allowed a team to score in 13 seconds it would be....Our defense sucks, or our defensive coordinator sucks. How could they call X,Y, or Z, but the Bills do the same.....Oh My Gosh We have 2 change overtime rules. Just seems funny 2 Me.

Where was the outrage in 2019 when Brady and NE did the same thing to Mahomes and KC? What's up with that Chit?

    BUFFALO CHOKED!

How in the world don't you squib kick to their high powered offense? 13 seconds to Mahomes, Kelce and Hill is like a minute and some change to nearly every other team. You make the other ST's use some clock. Any amount of clock. 5 or 6 seconds and the game is probably over.

I don't claim to be a genius but some of these NFL coaches are dumber than a box of rocks.

More than one thing can be true. Yes, Buffalo’s defense s*** the bed (and their coach made a lousy decision kicking a touchback). But the situation also highlights a flaw in the current OT system. It’s not as bad as the old sudden death rules, but it could be improved.

They take turns from the 25 yard line. Regular rules. If you fail to score at least as many points per round as your opponent, you lose. Score more, you win. So, even if you don't gain a yard on down's 1-3, you have a 43 yard FG chance.

Sometimes the OT's can get quite lengthy. If the NFL were to ever try something like this, I would hope that they would move it to the 50. At least make them get one 1st down to have a realistic FG chance.

So, you have the potential of having double and triple OTs? Hmm. I guess it's better than soccer.....

Also I believe, if the teams are trading touchdowns in overtime, Teams are required to go for the 2 point conversion on either the 2nd or 3rd overtime touchdown.

I would be fine with it if they didnt automatically put the defenses at a disadvantage. Why do the defenses at all levels get treated like the redheaded stepchild?
