Who cares about records when they've had a PO win more recent than we have? Now that's sad. JMO>

When you cannot win, the most you can hope for is that your nemesis loses. Heck, we fall in that trap sometimes.

So would you rather have the Browns record over the last 29 years since they have that playoff win or the Steelers?

"Who cares about those 6 Super Bowl wins, all those other playoff wins, Division titles, Winning seasons cause the Browns have won a playoff game more recently than us"
That's just brilliant. Why didn't I think of that?

They are not the "Browns." The "Browns" moved to Baltimore. These guys just copied their name and uniform, that is why I simply call them "Cleveland."

The Browns were so terrible for so long, that they got to stack their roster with top draft talent for a decade. That, so far, has turned into one playoff appearance and a single win.

Yeah. People need to accept that the Browns beat us in the playoffs, and beat us twice in the same season for the first time since the 80s.

There won't be a change until people own that we are a mediocre team that underachieves compared to the roster talent.

We suck right now and you're still bragging about a Super Bowl from 1974?!

Last year the Browns punched us in the mouth and beat our ass in front of everyone. Instead of having a chip on our shoulder and fighting with something to prove Claypool says "It doesn't matter that we got blown out in our own building by the Browns in the playoffs because they will lose to the Chiefs."

Guess who else got clapped by the Chiefs?

The whole culture of acting superior based on the 1970s is a major problem.

No one is saying it is better to be a Browns fan. The smarter fans are understanding that Ben presented 1 of 2 Super Bowl windows in the Steelers history. This last window is shut, sealed and boarded up. The past isn't going to change. No one can take away any of the 6 Super Bowls. But the future is going to look like the 1980s. That is what the 2020s hold. No one brags about the Steelers because of the 1980s.

Who are these people that need to own that we are a mediocre team?

You said people which inferred you were talking about somebody other than Steelers. If you meant Steelers why didn’t you just say Steelers?

This is all the Browns have to brag about some titles won in the 1950s, there was like 8 teams in the league back then .

    I do personally.

If boasting and bragging about beating a rival in a playoff game trumps the games end goal in winning the Super Bowl?! That is a fan base I want no part of. Now, a fan base that not only realizes success but has been gifted with sustained success for over a half century?!?!

Boy you really like to reach with your analysis dont you? Not one mention of the Steelers sweeping the Browns this year huh?? Help me make sense of something. It's not ok for Steelers fans to point out past history success, but it's ok for you to focus on a couple Browns wins from the previous season and completely forget about the current season and what happened??

Talk about putting words in someone's mouth. Where did anyone say they wanted the Browns record over the past 29 years? Only YOU, not me. Read the post once again, slowly. I believe it said Clev has won a PO game more recently than we have. I think that's sad. Everything after that came from your sarcastic pompous mind. You seem to still be sticking your chest out for SB's won nearly 50 years ago. That's clinging to ancient history and a weak excuse to bring up. What about the past decade when most members were around? I don't think most here strive for non-losing seasons, like you seem to dwell on, as the goal of this franchise before then. Not so brilliant. JMO>

Reminded Me of when Joey P. threw down with the browns before game, and changed how warm ups could go.
