Harrison has looked like a shell of his former self the past few weeks, and he has generated NO pressure from his spot. So, has there been any word or info that DL may let another player (Wordlis) take some of his reps on that side to change things up??? I mean JH is a beast, but he is average on Sundays right now, and another average player(Wordlis) with fresh knees could do no worse right?

i got excited for a minute thinking you had some news.

i think Harrison might be done. he is a great Steeler, but he is pretty much just taking up a spot right now.

i wouldnt give up on him yet. look at Keisel. he also looked done earlier this year, but now he looks almost like the player he was last year. maybe Harrison can regain that, but right now he is hurting them more than helping.

the outside lb position in DL scheme is very important and right now Harrison and Woodley arent producing.

The idea that he's hurting more than he's helping is flat out ridiculous. He might be playing like a shell of his former self, but that is still good enough to be great ball. He's still a force in the running game, and I know he's not producing a pass rush, but that's due to the fact that he's hardly rushing the passer (probably because they know he won't get far because he's hurt).

First, as long as he continues to play like this, he'll continue to not be done, because he's playing at a quality NFL level. Second, I'll wait for him to play healthy before I decide if he's done.

As for splitting reps, I'd support the idea until James is 100%. Worilds is not as bad as people think.

Well he is a Brown's killer, so I expect a coming out party next weekend. Weeden may not make the whole game.

I actually LIKE Worilds. I thought I was the only person on here that did though.

I do too...though I do think he does better on Woodley's side than Harrisons.

After seeing him in person I can tell you that he's not very big. I think Harrison is much bigger than him and I don't know if he could be an every down guy but in the right situation I think he could be really good.

More worrisome should be Woodley. Harrison is a liability in pass coverage (No Crap really?) He's been strong in the run though and he'll start turning the corner on these guys eventually. It's no coincidence that they went right to Woodley's side all day last week. Harrison was setting it pretty damn good.

I've seen him in person too...Worilds is actually bigger than Harrison...however Harrison has that big upper body and all that really throws everything off, haha. The more playing time he gets the better he will be.

Big test to see how he matches up against the ravens. We need him to get some pressure on Wacko Flacco with Troy out

Dude! He looks like he weighs about 30lbs less than Harrison and was a lot more slender. Wow. I would NOT have guessed Worilds to be bigger.

The sad thing is, we need him and Woodley to be RAVEN KILLERS Thats why they get the BIG BUCKS
The Browns are not in the conversation, we need players to make plays when the lights are on
at thier very brightest, not against these bottom feeders. ,Now I know he is just starting to get back into
playing shape, will he return to greatness? I am not sure, I think Goodell has ruined his game?

With Carter being placed on IR maybe it's time to see what the "one trick pony"can do for a few snaps to give James a breather. You never know.

Worilds is 6-2 262, he's the same size as Woodley, Harrison is smaller at 6-0 245, Harrison is undersized for the position he plays.......

Roger just fined him for splitting reps

JH has been held so much, he now holds himself back

I think Woodley is good at setting the edge. And I wouldn't call Harrison a liability in coverage. I think he's actually great in coverage, and always has been. He never got the credit he deserved there even from his own fans, just like how outside of his own fan base he didn't get the credit he deserves from his play against the run - probably all because he's such a great pass rusher. Perhaps his coverage is slipping a bit this year along with everything else due to his injury and lack of practice, but aside from not doing such a great job on Jared Cook for one play, I can't remember any plays where he blew it. And that one play was not his fault at all, because at his best he should not be expected to chase down a faster tight end across the field on a drag route. That's not him, nor is it any other 3-4 OLB that I can think of. That's something you can ask Timmons or a DB to do, but not Harrison or Woodley. That was a failure of scheme. So yeah, I can't think of any reason you'd say he's a liability in coverage.
