jimmy smith had groin surgery today and will not play in either game against the steelers. so thats webb and him gone from their secondary plus ed reed is hurt as well. throw in no ray lewis and ngata being banged up and i like our chances. the ravens have the 26th rush defense in the league and with the shape of their secondary there is no way they can afford to put eight in the box.

ed reed was hurt but from what i understood .. he is playing right? thats got to be good for an INT or 2.. he always has an INT against ups and normally returns it for a TD... i thought reed was playing .. no?

thats what i posted earlier ... with the two starting CB's out lefty might pass for more yard's than we expect..... if the o-line can give him time :towel:

Reed doesn't typically have big games against us when Ben is in. He keeps the ball away from him.

From what I've heard, he isn't at 100% which is good for the home team.

Ed Reed's raider post game comment.

The strangest post-game comments Sunday came from Ravens Pro Bowl Ed Reed. He had a poor game against the Raiders and hasn't played well this season. He is in the final year of his contract, and was pulled from the game Sunday after three quarters because of a "stinger" in his shoulder.

Man, if Ben was still healthy, I think we would have dominated this game, still think we will win though :herewego:

Seriously! I was looking forward to us shocking the world against Baltimore because everyone had us counted our after our three early losses. With Ben in I think we'd take this game by double digits. Now if we beat them it will be a legitimate shock. Okay, maybe not a shock, but Leftwich will have to have a good game. And I like Lefty. I'll pick us to win.
