3rd qb

with ben out for a while we need a 3rd qb that can be eventually start in case lefty and batch injurie ( not so impossible since they are made of glass)
what about seneca wallace ? i always liked him and while he is injurie prone too i remember he had some great game with seattle and cleveland

I think they definitely need to think of getting another quarterback. I'm not sure who? Maybe Brett favre can come out of retirement again.

I dont think they need a 3rd...he'd probably be inactive anyways so whats the use at this point.

 

i read they may sign jarrod johnson to the PS as an extra arm for practice. he is familiar with the haley playbook at least. i see no harm in him on the practice squad if they decide to.

 

i think they will have to pick an active a third qb with lefty and batch , they are one good shot away to end their career

 

I dont understand why they let him go to start with. I thought he looked good in preseason.

 

To the PS thats fine...and understandable...they can can that OL named McClendon the have on the PS and bring in JJ. I figured he'd be there after the preseason as it was.

 

he's the only other guy that knows our system this year. i like him and thought he should have made the team or at least the PS. knowing the system since haley has come, shortens the curve were byron to get hurt and we would be in scramble mode the next week.

Yup. He was the next man up against the Chiefs since Batch was inactive.

 

they will have to do something. Batch has to be playing his last year and if Lefty struggles i cant see him coming back. they might have a few guys come in for next year, but they will ride with the 2 guys they have. thats the Steeler way.
