With Joe Judge out, the new coach of the Giants will want his own QB, that makes Jones expendable. He could be had for a 3rd or a 4th. Tomlin and Canada could unleash the fire within this young man...this could be a Josh Allen moment.

NBC used to have information moments that ended with the statement, "the more you know..." meaning they were providing content to promote knowledge that could actually help a person. Your posts need the following at the end, "the more to no...". 'Nuff said.

We will have to wait and see if they pickup his 5th year option at 21.3 million.

He is making 8 million in 2022 why would they trade him for anything less than a 1st? If they release him this year they will save 200K with a dead cap space of 8 million.

That's just what we need, all of the boneheaded turnovers without the production.

Danny Dimes has not lived up to his nickname.

Not sure he is much of an upgrade over Rudolph.

Giants will draft Pickett. Jones is worse than Trubisky.

They'd be better off with 70-year-old former Baltimore Colt, The Ruston Rifle, Bert Jones.

I think he broke a huge run against the eagles once, then fell/fumbled it at the end. He's kinda Eli like.
Give him quality QB coaching and he may be serviceable, so just not here.

How often do reclamation project QBs work out? Tannehill is decent, but he was 10x better with Miami than Jones is with the Giants, so it’s not terribly surprising. Was Gannon the last one to actually reach elite status?

Jones has been terrible. He may have actually regressed every year. If we’re going to hitch our wagon to a reclamation project, I’d sign Mariota.

I actually don't hate this. I see potential in Daniel Jones. In the right situation I think Jones could still succeed in the NFL. The Steelers just isn't the right situation.

I’d rather test the water and see if the Eagles will trade Gardner Minschew for a late round pick. That kid has shown more potential than Jones

giants have a 5th and 7th. so any hope of us ever getting were pipe dreams? not sure why people were saying he would be there around 10-15 then.

edit: that was more of a question. :) only hear of people talking about him and i look him and his stats but other than that didn't really know a thing about him. just seemed like we would have a shot at him.

davis mills was playing pretty good the last few games of the season for the texans. he put up over 90 QB rating 4 out of his last 5 and had 9 td's to only 2 ints. if i was a texan fan i would want to see another year of him before i threw in the towel on him.

i disagree on detoit though. they can ditch goff in 2023 , but they arent going to spend the 2nd pick on any of these qb's.

    Daniel Jones? The turnover machine???
He is the new Jay Cutler. All the physical ability in the world combined with terrible decision making. I would rather stick with what we have.

Unless Denver can sign a big name FA, they will be looking for a QB. Atlanta may be looking to transition away from Ryan. Panthers and WFT are also wild cards that may pick a QB. I doubt we will have a chance at Pickett

Jones would be a project for sure, but he is on a bad team, and their coach was terrible.

    He might flourish somewhere else?

Why? I think Lions take Pickett and sit him for 1 year. Goff is OK but $30M is a big cap hit for OK.
