What on Earth does Zach Banner have to do to get into the starting lineup when healthy? It should have been him and Chukwuma out there on Sunday.

Do we really miss a 5th round pick that much? A comp pick to boot is at the end of the 5th round. Haeg is better then any 5th rounder lineman we would get. Not that big of deal.

Normally I would agree with you. But the Steelers are pretty lite on picks already going into the 2021 draft. Sucks to lose one.

Well, last year they had no money at the start of free agency, the league cut the cap by 16 million in 2020. This year they're projected to have about 46 million in cap space.

 

Playing Joe Haeg last week cost them a 5th round pick in the next draft.
