The older I get the more and more I disagree with this mindset.

If I have a favorite restaurant and time and time again I leave extremely disappointed. Maybe not every time, but more often than not, would you expect that to remain my favorite restaurant for ten years? Obviously no, because they aren't doing things right and it's not being addressed.
