He was talking about Ben. He called him our Michael Meyers. Every time we thought we had killed him he would come back again.

Bart Scott couldn't retire Ben, but Father Time did.

Bart Scott would probably have been a life long criminal if it weren't for the NFL.

I listen to Bart Scott on ESPN radio any chance I get and right now he’s by far my fav football radio host and gor both his football analysis and funny comedy takes. Of course during his playing days he was one of those enemy Ravens loved to hate but respected their abilities like so many Baltimore squads.

Even he I mostly agree with him clearly describing the different responsibilities of the two positions. I really always make the distinction in the same spirit when talking about these two greats specifically.

And I usually do that because people, just like him here, don’t respect Troy’s full game vs. Ed Reed. And THAT’S where he’s way wrong and hyper disrespectful himself.

Troy was either great or elite at any responsibility of the larger picture of “safeties”. Ed Reed was the best ball hawk at safety, period. And then his returning abilities too. But none of the other skills are usually mentioned as remarkable.

The notion that Troy didn’t or wasn’t good at baiting QB’s is either ignorant, a lie, or just flat out wrong! Dude beat them in a number of big games doing just that!!!!

Father time hasn't taken out TB12 as of yet.

44 and leading the NFL in Passing yards.

But I think he plays at 45 years old then gets out.

I think next year will be it for TB12.

It is disrespectful that Troy Polamalu is likely the most underappreciated HOFer currently in Canton as a whole!!

Maybe Ken Houston and Jerry Kramer have more cache but... Troy's name is consistently left out among his peers. Why that is I will never know.
