Unbelievable...I just saw the NFL leading rusher and #22 is the 4th leading rusher at 4.0yrds per carry. After so many tough games, I never expected him in the top 10. If he plays full game next week, he will be at least 3rd leading rusher cause Joe Mixon who is currently ahead (2nd) of Najee by 35 yards and Mixon is out with COVID next week. The other one also ahead of Najee is Nick Chubb who is ahead of Najee by only 29 yards. Najee could end up #2 in the league if he has another big day. Gotta give Najee some credit.

That’s pretty good, but also surprising as he didn’t seem to be racking the yards up, only the attempts.

On that note, he only has four more attempts than Mixon.

I Saw were he was #5 b4 the game Monday, i thought to myself know way that could be right... Whats that say abt the rest of Rb's in the league, when the 4th highest rusher has a lil over 1100 yards ?

It's a passing league these days.

Still seems odd that he is so high on the list. I'm sure injuries have something to do with it also.

The reason he didn't look like he was making so many yards is because he was covered by opposing players jerseys and hard to see moving a pile of humanity.

Only injury of note is Henry, who would have about 27000 yards about now.

How can this be true? I was told that Tomlin ran his wheels off?

    Well, yeah.

It kind of scares me that the Titans will probably be the #1 seed in the AFC, and played half the season without the best running back in football, and will have him back rested for the playoffs.

Point- Nagee is currently 21st on the list of all times yards from scrimmage for a rookie. That's why we drafted him. He may have 1300 yards rushing this year (assuming the line plays like they did Monday. Otherwise he will have 1200). Three times what Derrick Henry had as a rookie. And there's not a person on this board that will argue that Derrick Henry is not the best running back in football today.

Taylor is the best RB this year.

ONLY because Henry is hurt. While I (and my son, who wanted [and got] a Taylor Jersey for Christmas) agree that Taylor had a hell of a year, Henry had 907 yards in 8 games. His ypg is almost 10 more than Taylor.

And while we're on Johnathon Taylor...

1169 yards rushing, 299 receiving as a rookie. Nagee... 1172 and 440 (sixteen games, to be fair).

That's fair. If Taylor gets MVP this year Titans fans will snap. Haha. Last year was crazy for Henry.

Maybe they won't almost miss winning the SB by a yard. (actually it would have tied the game)

I always remember that SB because I had no idea what the commercials were alluding to. Dot.com was just taking off.

Tough kid for sure. Wheels haven’t run off and rookie wall not yet hit. In fact, he’s running stronger than ever.
What happened to Leveon year one?

Henry is the best back. Dude is a linebacker that runs faster than some safeties lol

Wasn't Najee supposed to be injured at 8 1/2 games because Tomlin?

It's not necessarily the number of games played, it's the number of carries that smooths the production values - Henry had 110 carries his rookie year, 4.5 YPC; Taylor carried 232 times in 2020, 5.04 YPC.

Still, it's notable that Harris has been able to post 4.0 YPC behind this OL (and offense in general). If they can assemble even a reasonably capable line this offseason, Harris appears poised to rank among the league leaders in both productivity and efficiency. I'm hoping both Miller and Green have utility in the long run - even if at RT and RG - but that likely means LT and C are early needs in the draft. There aren't many appealing options (Ryan Jensen?) hitting free agency this offseason, and I don't know that Banner is a solution outside of RG - which would mean Green finds his footing at C, or becomes a backup. Neither option there inspires a warm and fuzzy feeling at the moment.

I’d still like to see us with a backup RB who can give him a breather. Snell is not the answer. Neither is Ballage. And don’t get me started on McFarland

Put Najee behind a good line next year (and he stays healthy) he will lead the league in rushing.

No chance. It's not a MVP anymore. It's a Qb award now.
