The Colts are 0 for their last 6 trips to Jacksonville. So there’s that….

But whatever, just beat the Browns. Play a solid game and beat the damn Browns.

I have been so optimistic about us getting into the playoffs, I feel like we will win the last 2 games.

However I Do Not see the Jags winning to get us in.

Can always hope though, I will still watch next week with fingers crossed.

Given that the Browns and Ravens are now out I would not be shocked if the Steelers win both their remaining games, but I dont see the Jags giving us any help, they are terrible.

End the season on a winning streak, whether in the playoffs or not.

The Ravens arent “out” anymore than the Steelers are. When they face Balt next week, Balt won’t be eliminated.
If the Steelers win, next week is the “Hope for a Jags Miracle” Bowl.

They are not. They need to win and have the Colts, Dolphins, Chargers all to lose next week.

SteelersRule6, who called this post “optimistic”, You do realize the Colts aren’t in Baltimore anymore? The Jags eliminate Balt by losing to the Colts.

The Jags only lost to the Colts by 6 points in Indy earlier this season and did somehow beat the Bills at home and have played better overall at home in Jacksonville if you’re looking for any kind of glimmer of hope for the Jags winning next week that’s about all I got.

Well - considering if Indy beats the Jags or the Chargers beat the Raiders (even if Indy losses), the Ravens season is over regardless.

If the Steelers win out, Indy beats Jacksonville and the Raiders/SD doesn't end in a tie, the Steelers will have the worst draft position without actually making the playoffs. Take a guess what's likely to happen.....

I agree with everything you said except being juiced up for MNF. I thought that they would be juiced for a home playoff game last year playing the same team they'll play on MNF. We are what we are and I just don't see us doing anything different TY than LY. I would hope we do as I hate the Stains almost as much as the Girls but I have set my expectations according to history. JMO>

And give them a terrible draft pick and a tougher schedule than the Browns and Ravens. What's the point of that?

Specifically - you win out, you're getting the Eagles instead of the Giants, the Colts instead of the Jags and the Chargers/Raiders winner instead of the Broncos.

I think the bell has tolled and the season is over. Better off losing two to get better draft position.

Can`t even hope really. Colts not losing to Jags. I think us winning two is just as unlikely anyway. Watt needs to be 100% for us to win and ribs are slow to heal.

They (Ravens) also need the Dolphins to not be in a 9-8 tie, since that would eliminate the Ravens too.

Just a side note even if the Steelers win the last two and the Jags somehow miraculously beat the Colts the Steelers still wouldn’t be in officially because if by some chance the Raiders and Chargers game ends in a tie and they both finish 9-7-1 they would both win the tiebreaker over the Steelers and claim the number 6 and 7 seeds which would be absolutely hilarious. So again even if the Steelers win out and the Colts do lose they would still have to wait and hope that the Raiders Chargers game doesn’t end in a tie before officially clinching a playoff spot.

Yup - was just going to post that.

That would be fitting and it's the only scenario that the Lions tie would actually matter (other than draft position - the tie might hurt, instead of it being a loss by 5-6 draft spots)

They still have Lamar, and Baker....so who cares. They are not winning a SB because they pick 2-4 spots ahead of us. LoL
