I watched this the other day, you can watch the breakdown of Loudermilk's play if you want, I focused in on the ILB's and including Highsmith and Edmunds as well. Not an easy thing to watch by any stretch of the imagination. The very first play he shows, Schobert commits to running up to the pile to fill a gap which would have been fine if his partner didn't abandon his place to get in towards the pile. Spillane leaves his responsibility early and it is a huge hole before he even knows if CSH has committed to that path. CSH could have run into one of his lineman's backs and bounced back into that huge hole Spillane just created. Last play highlights Loudermilk's hustle but again it wasn't needed if everyone played their reponsibilty. Schobert runs up besides Heyward to absorb the FB's block and plug a hole. Only problem is Heyward is already sliding off the block and has his arm on the FB as well. The three chiefs were going to plug the hole themselves with their blocking and Schobert could have shot the gap and tackled the rb for a loss or minimal gain. As it was Loudermilk saved the play from being worse.

They should have lots of money next year to spend. If they are aggressive with FA and draft we should
be able to be competitive again. QB is the key.

Hopefully on the coaches side Art II opens the checkbook and they spend some money on a quality defensive coordinator taking that out of Tomlins hands.

They will extend Fitzpatrick and D Johnson.

They need a Center (move Green to guard), Defensive Tackle/ Nose, Strong Safety, O tackle, a rotational OLB, ILBer depth, Cornerback even if they sign Haden and Witherspoon, Receiver, a DE. The list will not be completed in one year either by drafting or free agents.

The big picture is who will be the QB. I think Mason will start, they bring in a vet not named Rodgers, Wilson or Watson to challenge or back up and have Dobbs as the #3. Ba Bye Haskins, what a waste. Fail.
