Was he pulled for bad play or was he injured?

I think we need a new C next year. Maybe Green can be an effective guard but he can't play center in the NFL.

A calf injury...The play after he didn't touch the guy opposite of him, causing a fumble and turnover lol

A calf injury...The very next play after completely whiffing on a block, and causing a turnover lol

Green isn’t good. Why KC & MT would draft an undersized Guard to start at C is a head scratcher.

They are moving him to defense after they saw his form tackle.

Especially with Humphrey available in the 2nd.

I don’t get why KC & MT get so much praise. It’s like everyone who’s wearing a suit in the Steelers org is asleep at the wheel. Taking Muth over Humphrey should be a fireable offense.

Which isn't putting Muth down he's been great it's just an OL is so essential whereas adding essentially another receiver is a luxury.

Right. Just like drafting RB in the 1st is a luxury. Everyone said don’t do it but KC & MT didn’t listen, and here we are. I sincerely hope an after action report and lessons learned from the past year helps to push this team in a better direction going forward.

With that said, I feel like MT & KC are way too comfortable. Would love to hear some humility and admit that mistakes were made, but it will never happen.

Is he 6’4 320? I didn’t realize. He plays like 6’1 294. Worse than I thought. Thanks for the correction.

The most annoying part is they tried this strategy in 2008 and it failed. So why continue to make the same mistake? The "protect Ben with weapons" strategy resulted in Ben being the most sacked QB in history. The period of time which Ben was elite coincided with Munchak's OL playing at an elite level.

It took 8 years to rebuild the deteriorated OL Tomlin inherited and it looks like the process will repeat. Our best OL, Decastro, was a fluke because he fell in the draft to us.

Ikr...He " looks " and definitely plays smaller! AND he was a weightlifting Champion at Illinois! A #700 Squat and #500 Bench so, Size and strength is not the problem!

It just baffles me that a guy who is that size, and supposed strong, gets absolutely manhandled... Again, that HAS to be Coaching and technique then! Unless, the move to Center is that much of a mental detriment to him!

Was a terrible draft pick at least for him to start at Center. Who knows if playing guard will be any better.
