we need a big W but more important is stay healthy tonight. we will have a short week going into the rasins game. they should be tired though from running up and down the field against oakland.

tonight i hope we play a complete game, run the ball, and keep playing solid defense.

max had a tough time against hali last year, so someones going to be tied up helping him all night.

i'd use rainey very sparingly tonight if at all. i'd give him a week to let those ribs heal some more.

use more will j. and paulson to give the raisins something to think about for the week.

I worry about this game, even though I took Pittsburgh to cover the spread. It has trap game written all over it. I just hope that Haley truly wants to send a message to Scott Pioli by smashing the Chiefs. I don't want to see vanilla playcalling because they're looking forward to next week already.

weather rolling in too tonight. redzone TD's. stop the run. i don't think it's a trap game but we can't lose focus. one week at a time for sure.

Not me. I hope winning every game is enough of a priority to him that sending messages isn't needed and I hope Todd isn't distracted by a selfish desire to make a personal statement.

    We'll moidah the bums.

Seriously though, I hope the ground game gets established early and we punish them all night. There's no reason we shouldn't light them up.

As much as I would like to see something different I think it will be something like last nights game or last years KC game. Ugly and sloppy - steelers win but KC will be one play away from winning it till the end.

Hope I'm wrong but it seems like even when the steelers blow someone out the score is close.

Aye. I'm hoping it's not one of those games where we have offensive dominance let down by sloppy finishing, then somehow the Chiefs win by three.

However, having watched the Chiefs a few times this season, I'm also hoping this is a further momentum builder where we just roll over them.

all the other AFC playoff teams won and most won convincingly. the Steelers need to put a complete game together tonight.

they need to get atleast 4 sacks, a couple turnovers (that they actually recover), no or atleast very few penalties, the offense needs to score td's and not settle for field goals, Miller needs to be very involved in the passing game, Mendy needs to shine (if he doesnt we know they have 2 other very capable rb's just waiting) and special teams need to play big again.
