leglue played pretty well. i talked about how well he played in the preseason too and this was just a carryover. he should start. i know, mac always talks about these scrubs but here you go. our scrubs have played some good ball. leglue, witherspoon, adams, wormley all made a difference last night. right place, right combo and they can help.

I also believe the officiating was decisively one sided. The no call on a receiver who had already relaxed and quit on the play. The over turn of a 32 yard completion. Really! Stevie Wonder could have gotten that one correct. Crucial calls at crucial junctures. It appears to be beyond random chance. It could be random and if it is then in this instance, it is still one sided.

Humprey is a good corner and Johnson ate him up for lunch yesterday with his route running. Humprey was lucky Johnson had only his 2nd drop all year on that one pass or it would of been a TD too. But, Johnson made up for it yesterday.

Johnson quietly setting himself up for a good 2nd contract.

True, I don't know how the Rats have been winning but I think Jackson and the D may have had something to do with it. They are in deep doo doo for the remainder of the year.

Diontae is likely to get it come as early as the next offseason. No reason he should not as he has had a bounce back year. Nice to see him have that. Now.... if Claypool could have a December to Remember, that would set up this offense even better.

Eh, I've piled on Bush most of the year but that play call was perfect. PA so Bush has to honor the run, Andrews crosses behind the RB. TJ saved the day with the pressure.

    Yup.

They had some nice play designs but TJ was a game wrecker right when we needed him to be.

Exactly why when people said the officiating was for us on the Bears game, I said I would lose no sleep over it.

You're right, the play call was perfect. To be truthful, the receiver should have caught the pass but the Steelers were fortunate on that play.

I wish he had caught it, and then stumbled down at the 1-inch line, just so it was more painful to Ravens fans.

Did they recently replace the sod at Heinz Field? The punt and kickoff that went out of bounds were in the same spot with similar back spin.

Bush looked a lot faster to me. Maybe he is getting some of his quickness back?

Boz's missed PAT and that out of bounds kick off at the end almost cost the game.

    the guy sucks.

we all can see it - enough of the excuses that some make, he will never be an impact player.

    yep

the OOB kickoff really sucked! kick it out of the EZ - is it that hard? it was not that windy.

Boz has saved us several times this year, so not ready to pile on him....

That was a much better team than this one. Maybe if these guys string together a few more victories, but from what we've seen so far, the Steelers aren't much of a threat even if they do sneak into the playoffs.

Yep. The '05 team was superior at every position except maybe Kicker and OLB.

'05 Ben was a hundred times better than '21 Ben.

I'd take Ward, Randle El and Nate Washington over Johnson, Claypool and McCloud.

I agree, Boz has been solid and there is no reason to pile on him for this. The extra point was a shank, anyone that has played golf knows these come out of nowhere and cant be explained ( at least not at the time ). As for the OOB kickoff, he did get a very unfortunate sideways bounce
