I said what I said...the Steelers did everything they could to lose that game in the last 1:30 from the ball kicked out of bounds, to a super soft zone being played, to eventually giving up a td. The Ravens are not in the dire situation that the Steelers were to lose this game and I agree whole heartedly with the decision to go for 2. Let's not mention giving up a 99 yd drive.

The Jujus and Discos of the world are, no doubt, throwing things at their cats and screaming, "Damn it! We're above .500!"

Yes, that's what I took from it. And, Todd blackledge from Penn state was considered a better qb then Marino

Was that run success late, more on having Leglue coming in fresh and wanting to show something?

Have to tip my cap to Tomlin, team was spiraling, didn’t think the padded practice was going to have the desired affect they needed although I completely agreed with doing it, just had the whole unleash hell feeling leading up to this game.

Not only did they not get embarrassed but they actually won, great job :steelflag:

I bet we won't hear any of the players talk about the need to practice better this week .

I’d put them in pads again. It matters.

They only get so many a year now once the season starts. I'm generally in favor of letting them get their bodies ready for the next game, saving the wear and tear. But sometimes you need to focus on the basics.

They still missed a bunch of tackles.

Some of it just comes across as excuses after a loss from the players IMO.

And always will. Same as every other team but actually practicing tackling people will only improve their overall game.

Problem is ....by my understanding of the rules...You can only do it so many times a year.
