As what...a Rb, Wrs , or a Cb???
You can't seriously be considering a Qb that couldn't even throw for 3000 yards at college in that division He was in a worthwhile draft pick higher than the 3rd round can You???
He isn't even Lamar good, and thats bad.

There have been plenty of failed QBs who had great physical tools, and showed upside in highlight reels, but were completely unable to stick at the NFL level when they actually had to use their heads. I’m going to watch more film on Willis before making a final decision on how I view him as a prospect, but so far I’m seeing a guy who is most likely a Taysom Hill kind of gadget player, or out of the league in 2-3 years. What’s that worth in the draft?

I am watching Pitt give Wake Forest a gluteal pummelling, and Pickett did not disappoint. He has not shown me the long distance artillery that I’d like to see but that’s all. Don’t know if I’d want the Steelers to tank to get him but if he fell to them, or they rose up to get him, I wouldn’t mind.

Question anybody? A Guy on Twitter, supposedly said...Pickett has TINY hands...So tiny that he wears gloves on both hands and, he sees this as a real problem going to the next level with the bigger ball...

I like most on here have watched, and would love to have Pickett from what I've seen...

My question is... Does anybody have this kind of information, and is it concerning to anyone?

I read an article a couple of days ago (not sure which fan site) that suggested having some inside information that the Steelers like Howell more than Pickett.

:puking 3:On Howell. I think We should wait 2 draft next Year. Way better draft for Qbs next year. Only one IMO this year, and not sold on Him completely.

There is an article online comparing Pickett’s hands to other QBs. If it is to be believed, his hands are indeed small. It may not be important. The NFL is only perhaps a fraction larger, and the size ranges of college and NFL balls overlap a lot.
According to what I have read, Dak Prescott has the largest hands for an NFL QB.
My own hands are larger than his, at nearly 11 inches! I am only 5’8” My son is only 5’6” and his hands are as big as mine. He once won a bet with his high school gym teacher that he could palm a basketball. I guess we are all made differently.

I honestly don't like either. Pickett is the closest 2 the Qbs I like. I say wait until after next year. Fix everything we can next year outside of Qb. It's Not like we don't have other holes.

People said Trey Lance wasn’t a 1st rd pick and he went top 5.

    We’ll see.

I didn't think He was a 1st round pick, but I do agree with what You just said. Someone will take Him in the 1st. I didn't think Baker was nothing more then a late 1st round pick - a 2nd rounder, but I believe He was the 1st overall.

Personally speaking, I will not be shocked if any of these QBs get over drafted. They often do in every draft and it never ceases to amaze me at all. For that matter, $10 says that Malik Willis will go in Round One and receive unfair Lamar comps.

What has Lance accomplished in the NFL? There’s a difference between being drafted in the 1st round and being worth a 1st round pick.

What does that have to do with my point? STD laughed at the notion of Willis going top 5, I pointed out that Lance did and many thought he wasn’t even a 1st rd talent.

Lance isn’t starting, not sure what you are expecting from him, IMO they are handling him the right way.

Back to my original point though, if Willis shines in the Senior Bowl, he will lock up a high draft spot, regardless what your guys think of him.

We won’t know for a while if he’s worth it or not.

Todd McShay 2022 Draft Mock 1.0...

    12. Pittsburgh Steelers (6-6-1)
    Kenny Pickett, QB, Pittsburgh

The wait is over: A quarterback finally comes off the board, and Pittsburgh gets its pick of the top prospects. Ben Roethlisberger is likely in his final season, and his successor is not currently in the building. The Steelers' offense has playmakers, but it needs someone who can distribute them the ball as the team tries to stay competitive in an AFC North division stacked with young franchise QBs. Pickett moves through his progressions and gets the ball out quickly, and he has the class' best combination of pocket awareness, accuracy and decision-making -- which I think are the three most critical traits when projecting a quarterback forward to the NFL.
