Wonder if this makes Gilreath's call up more probable. I aloso found out that they can't release Charlie to make room without him being put on waivers. Apparently after the trade deadline vets need to clear waivers like everyone else, so we can't just release him for the weekend.

So, who would be cut? Pope? Woods? Robinson?

P.S.: We released McCoy off the PS.

 

You got good guesses with Pope, Woods or Robinson, I would say Al Woods, since the D line is pretty healthy.

 

Id release pope ....hes terrible and if todd wasnt here he woud be gone... in fact he wouldnt have been here in the first place...

I think I would go with Woods, Pope or Johnson (good one TTF).

I think they like the potential of Robinson and Van Dyke, so I don't see either of them being released.

Moye was a great receiver with bad QB play. Very reliable.

 

we have two receivers on the practice squad, why do we need another one added?

 

One of them is getting called up this week for brown

 

I saw Moye at Penn State, and I'm definitely a fan. He's tall and has decent speed, though I think it'll take some time for him to get used to the physicality of the nfl. Also, I don't know when, if ever, he will see the field due to the number of good young receivers that we have in front of him.

so one is called up? why is it we have to add a WR to the PS for one game, when we already have another one sitting there already? why not a LB, or an o-lineman or a safety? we got rid of a TE to get a one week wr. i don't get it.

Because Haley is secretly plotting a return to BA ball and the ULTIMATE goal of all of this is to promote the receivers from the practice squad and demote Heath Miller to the practice squad. I mean how else can you explain it really? That is the ONLY possible explanation.
