Todd Haley vs. KC prediction

My one and only prediction for the week is this:

TODD HALEY PUTS 40 ON THE CHIEFS NEXT MONDAY!

I understand that there is still a lot of animosity between Haley and Pioli. What do you expect? When you try to cross someone born and bred a Steeler with a Patsie that's what happens. At any rate, I predict that Haley will open it up a little bit against the Chiefs and exact some revenge.

 

I would like to see us get 40 regardless of the motive. But I've said my dream scenario for Haley would be for us to somehow meet the Colts in the playoffs and destroy them with an excellent, rational, gameplan.

 

I sure hope so we haven't given a nice butt whippin in a while

 

Heck, I'd like to see us get 30, as I don't think we've hit that mark yet this year. Surely, I could look it up, but don't feel like it, but seems we're mid-20s each week.

 

We hit 30 in Oakland. Sorry to remind us.

 

I feel good about scoring 30. The D has gotten stingy again! I'm lovin' it like McDonalds!!!!

 

This game scares me, we have a tendency to get big heads and often loose to the likes of the Raiders, the Titans, and the Chiefs. Remember having 3 leads and one of them in the 4 qtr against the Chiefs and they end up loosing. How many times does this team play down to the competition.

 

I would prefer we beat them by running the same bubble screen on every play. Just to make a point.

 

Focus is extremely important for this game. We can't lose focus and forget that although the Chiefs record isn't a favorable one this season we are still playing another NFL team and anything can happen. We seem to have a habit, at least this season, of playing poorly against teams we should blow by without any trouble. We certainly can't afford to give up any more gimmie games this season.

With that being said we should be able to put up 30+ points on these mothers!

 

Haley knows all the weaknesses that KC has, he knows what will beat their defense, we are lucky to have haley for this monday night game when he will be very motivated to beat KC in a payback game: Crennel is going to be fired soon, and Haley would like nothing better than to get him fired after this game....Payback time for Todd Haley...

allowing the team to try another fake fieldgoal from further away ,only this time Heath releases and catches a pass from Suisham and rumbles in for a TD from about 25 yards out

Being a MNF game at home lessens the nerves a bit on a nailbiter.If it was in KC i would be a little worried.

 

KC played very rough against the ravens. I think Baltimore won by one point, but KC fumbled the ball on the goal line.

 

Good point but we are much better then the Ravens. Ravens really suck.. Their defense is pretty much decimated

I hope this prediction is right! But all I want is a nice game where we win and I don't chew all my fingernails off, and for this game to be injury free!!!

 

Can we not forget that we have lost to the Bruce Gradkowskis of the world?
Brady Quinn is worse than hometown Bruce, so I fear these games for Steelers
on paper should not be close. Unfortunatley the Steelers seem to always have tough times
with KC/Oaklands of the world. WHY?

 

This is what I've been saying. You gotta put your foot on the pedal and not take it off for anyone.

 

I think we are really starting to hit stride as a team, as a defense and even special teams. This is the first time in a long time in which I think the Steelers will actually pound someone. In addition we want as much momentum built up for the following week when we play the Ratbirds...

 

Off Topic, but I just got Madden 13 the other day and was playing around a bit. I was wondering if the bubble screen was one of the plays available and I was using the quick offense selections that come instead of going into the play books and sure enough bubble screen shows up a few moments later. I selected it and threw it to Wallace and got smashed for a 5 yard lose....I think my silent reaction was "yep thats about right".

 

That is HILARIOUS! So much for video games aren't realistic! LOL!
